Spitfire Launches Version 4.2 of its Construction Project Management Software
ARMONK, NEW YORK—(February 1, 2012)— Spitfire Management, LLC, announces the release of Version 4.2 of Spitfire Project Management System—its comprehensive, browser-based construction project management software. Spitfire Project Management System Version 4.2 offers many improvements that streamline common processes and add flexibility to the system, especially for third-party users. Many of the features in Version 4.2, such as
- subcontractor pay requests moved automatically into progress billing,
- improved access to the Spitfire Plan Room by vendors and other third party project participants,
- wizards that allow vendors to download files and respond to emails with just two or three clicks,
- greater organization of projects and documents
- greater control over routed documents and files, and
- increased customization of budgets
are a direct result of feedback from current clients. As Jon Taffler, President of Spitfire Management, explains, “Development is always driven by the concerns and challenges of our clients. We value the relationships we have with those who use our system, so when they identify an area that can be tweaked or improved, we strive to include those improvements in our next release.”
When clients saw a preview of the features on January 5, the feedback was positive: “Great job on the new features! Looking forward to implementation,” said Jeff Riesberg of CECO Concrete Construction. Eileen Macario of Target Building Construction concurred, “There appears to be a lot of great upgrades in the works.”
In Version 4.2, there are enhancements to the Plan Room, document control, file catalog, routing, budget, SOV, projects, contacts, and customization functions. Spitfire Management offers demos to anyone interested in learning about the new and existing features of the Spitfire Project Management System.
