FOLSOM, Calif. Brasfield & Gorrie is working directly with HardHat Technologies, Inc., a Meridian value added reseller, to implement Prolog software.
Brasfield & Gorrie, a regional general contractor that provides construction, design-build and construction management services for a wide variety of projects, from landmark commercial structures to industrial plants, serves the Southeast from offices in Birmingham, Atlanta, Nashville, Orlando and Raleigh. Their projects include healthcare facilities, multi-story office, institutional, hotels, retail, parking decks, industrial plants, bulk storage and water and sewage treatment plants.
"Brasfield & Gorrie is excited about the efficiency gains Prolog 2008 software will deliver for our project teams," says Tom Garrett, CIO, Brasfield & Gorrie "To better serve our customers we are completely integrating and streamlining our back-of-house processes."
"We were happy to work with Brasfield & Gorrie through their selection process. As a team we balanced the need for state-of-the-art technology and the best set of functionality for their project management users," says Christian Burger, Burger Consulting Group, Inc., who helped Brasfield & Gorrie through their project management (PM) technology and solution selection. "Overall Brasfield & Gorrie reached the right decision and the best fit for their PM solution needs."
Meridian's Prolog 2008 software will be used to capture Brasfield & Gorrie's best practices in an environment that promotes efficiency across all projects and programs. Prolog software will be a key part of their initiative to integrate and streamline back house processes in order to expand their services by increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of their project teams. Additionally, Prolog software will be a central collaboration system across the Brasfield & Gorrie organization to standardize and automate all project management tasks.
"Using fewer resources to push internal processes means more resources are available to focus on real challenges our customers are facing," says Garrett. "We see a win for both our project teams and customers."
