Idea Spectrum unveils a new line of 3D landscape design software; now anyone can design and visualize their landscaping projects in real-time, photorealistic 3D

RENTON, Wash., Oct. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Idea Spectrum today announces the unveiling of its new Realtime Landscaping product family that includes Realtime Landscaping Pro, Plus and Photo editions. Designed with an ordinary user in mind, this software enables you to design a 3D landscape presentation right out of the box. You can recreate your house digitally and add decks, ground cover, patios, fences, plants, and water features. The end result is a superbly detailed and atmospheric 3D outdoor world, where you can freely walk around in real-time 3D. Users can create movies of their presentations and distribute them over the web or via CD-ROM.

    New Landscape Design Technology

According to Jim Napier, president of Idea Spectrum, the product's ability to create photorealistic landscapes in real-time 3D will turn the heads of professional designers, while its point-and-click simplicity will appeal to home design enthusiasts. "As a garden or landscape professional, you can visualize your design ideas as a computer-animated model with accurate dimensions, scale, and object placement relative to existing property and landscaping. This can be shown to your client, who can take a virtual walk around the property to view proposed design changes as if it were in the physical world. The program can also help you estimate the cost of your projects by exporting a bill of materials to Excel."

Powerful Tools for Creation of Lifelike Landscapes

Realtime Landscaping provides tools for re-creating the slope of existing property, including sloping yards, building pads, driveways, hills and valleys. Terraces and hillside landscaping are supported. The software comes with over 470 photorealistic landscaping plants, including trees, shrubs, flowers, and other common landscaping plants. The plants are highly detailed 3D models that look real from any viewing distance.

    Realtime Landscaping Pricing and Availability

Realtime Landscaping runs under Windows 98/Me/2000/XP. The product is distributed as a Pro version for professional use, $59.95 (USD), a Plus version without water features and the ability to import custom models, $49.95 (USD), and a Photo-only version, $39.95 (USD). The product can be securely purchased via Idea Spectrum's online store at https://secure.IdeaSpectrum.com/purchase.php.
