Creative freedom, designing and building in the existing fabric, design to cost, or convincing presentations to the client – the new product generation of Allplan 2006 provides architects with extensive support for their many and varied tasks. Nemetschek is the only provider offering an integrated solution for architectural design, visualization, civil engineering, quantity takeoff, cost planning, structural design, energy advice, and building services. This intelligent system makes multiple entries, data discontinuity, and interface problems things of the past. As a pioneer of BIM (Building Information Model) technology, the company has further rounded out its building model in Allplan 2006.

Achieving your Wildest Dreams and Convincing Clients

The design options offered in the 2006 Generation of Allplan are particularly impressive. From freehand sketches to detailed architectural planning, Allplan is a sophisticated planning system that places no limitations on creative freedom. Architects can design free forms far removed from conventional design and show these to clients in convincing presentations – all in one system: from the draft through to the working and detailed drawings, for all graphical and drawing requirements, based on standardized data, and with comprehensive user guidance.

    New: the Facade Modeler

A building's exterior is its business card. The new Facade Modeler in Allplan offers everything an architect needs to design the facade – as easily as possible and with as much detail as necessary. The supplied Allplan wizards with a selection of facade types allow the facade to be modified and changed at any stage during design. Users thus have a modeling tool for mullion-and-transom facades, all-glass facades, or panel facades. In future, additional wizards will be incorporated to increase the selection of facade types.

TÜV-certified for Extra Reliability: Allplan and Allright

One particular strength of the 2006 Generation is any tender program available on the market can be connected to CAD planning. Allplan/Allright, Nemetschek’s own CAD-TAI quantity takeoff solution was the first CAD-TAI application to be awarded a TÜV certificate. Nemetschek received this certificate for VOB-compliant quantity takeoff for specifications and costing. Changes are documented, and automatically maintained both in the plan and in the costing or tender. This creates an excellent basis for cost estimates during pre-planning, draft design, and the creation of activities or site documentation. Quantities produced using the Nemetschek solution can also be exported for use in a local TAI system. The intelligent building model created with Allplan 2006 thus forms the ideal basis for traceable quantity takeoff – the cornerstone of cost security. Ultimately, architects and clients alike benefit from greater financial control thanks to consistent planning, quantity and cost security, and better traceability.

New: Tachometer for Quantities and Costs

The new tachometer for quantities and costs feature in Generation 2006 enables you to display the current construction costs at any time during planning. At the touch of a button, every planner always has a visual cost check - the relevant information for this is exchanged between the Nemetschek Generation 2006 programs and is then displayed and analyzed in clear graphics.
