Based in CH2M HILL's Los Angeles office, Ludwin is transitioning into his new role formerly held by Martin Nicholson of Redding, Calif., who has been promoted to Water Business Group business development director for North America.
Ludwin's 29 years of experience in engineering management, design, construction, and operations in the state of California includes 11 years of executive management experience at a large regional sanitation district, as well as senior leadership roles at other private engineering firms and public utilities.
Before joining CH2M HILL in 2006, Ludwin was director of engineering for the Orange County Sanitation District, where he led a department responsible for a $2.5 billion capital improvements program and managed development of a 20-year strategic plan.
Ludwin holds a B.S. in civil engineering and an M.S. in environmental engineering from the University of Illinois. He also has completed executive training and certification programs at Harvard University and Stanford University.
