Rowse Company Announces SiteMenu Release 5

News Release

October 31, 2002 – Rowse Company is announcing the immediate availability of SiteMenu Release 5. SiteMenu is an interface development toolkit used to deploy CAD standards and design automation in MicroStation and AutoCAD. SiteMenu is used by government agencies including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Federal Aviation Administration, Florida Department of Transportation, and hundreds of AE firms worldwide.

SiteMenu offers customizable menu bars, a command spreadsheet dialog, and an integrated browser – each designed to conserve screen space while enforcing CAD standards. SiteMenu can launch commands; set drawing attributes such as level-layer, color, weight, etc; load cells, blocks, and settings components; run macros, MDLs, AutoLISP and ARX applications; and link to custom user documentation.

SiteMenu provides a highly customizable, simple and unobtrusive CAD standards interface. Menu content is managed from ASCII text files – offering a secure, modular, version-independent development platform that requires no programming. The power of SiteMenu lies in the versatility and simplicity of its interface components, resulting in maximum CAD standards compliance. Users are more productive because design automation is easier to access, while drawings are higher quality because computer-aided design standards are implemented enterprise-wide.

SiteMenu Advantages

  •         Offers a uniform CAD standards interface for MicroStation and AutoCAD
  •         Enables layering of menu components based on configuration options
  •         Allows concurrent editing for live, site-wide CAD standards updates
  •         Reads menu content from ASCII text files, easily edited and configured

  •         Supports Documentation Links for custom user documentation
