The course’s author, Jeff Bartels, walks viewers through the practical, everyday workflows of this industry-standard application for 2D and 3D work. Jeff’s in-depth instruction includes an overview of the AutoCAD interface, the fundamentals of drawing in AutoCAD, making minor and major changes, controlling accuracy, plotting, annotating, and organizing drawings. The course also includes chapters on helpful AutoCAD tools, how to easily reuse content, and how to share data. Jeff presents the material to teach both experienced users and those new to the field looking for a user-friendly way to learn CAD.
“This is our first of what we expect will be many AutoCAD training courses,” says Lynda Weinman, CEO of lynda.com. “Author Jeff Bartels recognizes that our online learners have different goals and experience levels, and that they’ll be using different versions of the application, including a newer one. To make this course relevant and valuable to all users, Jeff focuses on the functionality and issues most common to AutoCAD users and applicable across all versions.”
