Meridian Project Systems Launches Prolog 7.0
Prolog Manages Organizational Performance Metrics Across ProjectsUsed by global and national enterprises and large regional-based organizations, Prolog Manager is the AEC industry standard for construction companies with over $250 million in volume*. Prolog WebSite complements Prolog Manager as a web-based collaboration application that ensures all project team members are well coordinated throughout the construction process. "Based on extensive customer feedback, these new versions increase our users' ability to handle data from multiple complex projects and to generate key performance indicators that improve company operations," said John Bodrozic, MPS president and cofounder. "Prolog will help our clients build a vital company knowledge base, and further standardize development and construction processes," added Bodrozic. Prolog Manager 7.0 Prolog Manager automates all aspects of the construction lifecycle: from design to close out. Prolog Manager version 7.0 includes a new Executive Dashboard Module that allows companies to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor all levels of company profitability, efficiency, and performance. Now company managers and project team members can identify and mitigate potential areas of risk before they impact project delivery or the company's bottom line. Multiple levels of metrics can be configured and customized, so company performance can be tracked at the corporate, project, or individual level. Prolog Manager also includes enhancements to Portfolio Manager and Prolog Today, and various Wizard and usability improvements. Prolog's program management functionality has also been expanded with project specific letter templates, new controls for administration and security, history and audit trail tracking, and international date formats. Prolog WebSite 7.0 Prolog WebSite 7.0 provides improved document control that streamlines the review process and prevents duplication or rework from miscommunication. Version Control features let users better manage document versions and prevent multiple simultaneous edits. New Check-in/Check-out functionality can also track historical changes by individual and date. Users will find improved access control to important documents with new security and permission features. Prolog WebSite 7.0 also provides administrators and managers with increased flexibility to assign access levels to important project documents. "As a Prolog customer, we anxiously look forward to the new arrival of Prolog 7.0 to distribute to our organization," comments Kermit Dubois, Director of IT, Shawmut Design and Construction. "After review of the pre-release, the enhanced usability and performance functionality will allow us to manage project profitability, efficiency and performance. Shawmut strives to exceed our clients expectations; with the release of this new version we can handle more data from multiple projects and improve our company operations," added Dubois.
