Leader in environmental solutions uses Proliance to streamline processes for large international projects

FOLSOM, Calif. (February 24, 2010) - Meridian Systems, the Plan-Build-Operate technology solutions leader for project-based organizations, announced today that Weston Solutions, Inc. (WESTON®) has selected Proliance® software to standardize its construction management processes. With more than 60 offices around the globe, WESTON, ranked 35 on the ENR top 200 environmental firms and 65 on the ENR top 500 design firms, is a global leader in environmental solutions, sustainable development, design/build construction, green buildings, and clean energy.

"Before Proliance, we were trying to standardize processes for managing our larger projects," said Robert Hackett, WESTON vice president. "Now, by using the software we will be able to integrate with our other internal systems to create a fully integrated world-class project management system. Proliance also allows us to improve collaboration and visibility across all key projects."

Proliance was selected because of its Web services platform and its integration flexibility. Proliance allows WESTON to streamline their offline business systems by integrating their project management, human capital management and financial reporting together as part of one technology solution.

In addition, WESTON selected Proliance based on the full functionality of the Proliance Request for Information (RFI), submittal and change management workflow and the reporting capabilities it delivers. Housing all documents in one centralized system of record can improve project management and assure a strong foundation for tracking and reporting on pending and future issues.

"WESTON is forward-looking in its use of technology to standardize construction project management best practices across their organization," said John Bodrozic, president and cofounder, Meridian Systems. "By using Proliance to automate workflow processes as well as integrate project data with existing systems, WESTON can gain increased operational efficiencies while also leveraging their past technology investments."

Proliance uniquely combines project and portfolio management, facilities management, business workflow and business analytics into one system of record, enabling large enterprises to track how their real estate, construction and facilities portfolios are performing.
