TCC Expands Offerings to Its Project Management Clients Through .NET and Web

                         Services With Proliance

FOLSOM, Calif., July 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Meridian Project Systems (MPS), a leading software and application service provider of project management solutions, announced today that Trammell Crow Company (NYSE: TCC) selected MPS to provide the first enterprise business process management solution for the corporate real estate and construction market. Trammell Crow Company is a diversified real estate services firm that implemented Meridian applications two-years ago to provide integrated solutions to its corporate and institutional clients worldwide. This new multi-year agreement includes deploying Proliance for Trammell Crow Company's Project Management group.

This partnership is a key step for MPS in bringing to market Proliance, a new paradigm for managing projects, programs and process across global organizations. Proliance is targeted to meet the needs of large owners with diversified property portfolios, as well as architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) companies. As MPS' third-generation Internet technology platform, Proliance allows global companies to realize the benefits of business process management across the enterprise.

Trammell Crow Company selected Proliance because it utilizes a platform built on Web Services and XML using the Microsoft .NET application framework. Proliance is built on a powerful foundation of Platform Services that include workflow automation, action and distribution management, security, file management and reporting, and communication tools.

"As a long-standing customer, Trammell Crow Company was able to provide its real estate expertise to assist Meridian as they developed the Proliance platform," said Steve Henry, CIO at Trammell Crow Company. "Our two-year relationship with Meridian has helped produce a critical system platform that provides valuable integration points and facilitates TCC's superior project management service delivery," added Henry.

Modular business applications incorporate Proliance's platform services and include features that help companies automate specific areas of their business (i.e. manage budgets, costs and contracts, perform office data functions, view and redline design documents, and manage purchasing and site development).

"Over the last two years, our teams have integrated Meridian's products with the Trammell Crow Company Project Management Playbook(SM)," said Ken Loeber, Managing Director of Project Management at Trammell Crow Company. "This combination of our best practices and Meridian's industry leading solutions has allowed our project managers to become both more efficient and more effective. Our clients now receive an even greater level of service consistency through these enhanced tools," added Loeber.

"We are excited to have the support of Trammell Crow Company as we bring our next generation business process management (BPM) solution to market," said Jim Olsen, MPS chief executive officer. "As one of our earliest supporters for Proliance, Trammell Crow Company has been key in helping us gain momentum behind this new technology paradigm."

Proliance's built-in workflow automates business processes for every function within an organization, allowing Trammell Crow Company to reduce the time and effort to process information, and enforce best practices company wide. Proliance is capped by a business intelligence dashboard that reports on key performance indicators across all projects and programs, providing valuable metrics on how to increase profitability and grow revenues across the company.

In addition to these capabilities, Trammell Crow Company will leverage Proliance's robust Budget and Contract Management functionality, and Proliance's Vendor Management capabilities to manage thousands of clients, contractors, and subcontractors across geographies.
