There are many tools to take into the Survey package, among them:

- many translation/conversion options

Many Chinese vendors have developed their own internal document management systems, so interoperability and standards are a huge problem. The government is issuing standards and exchange formats, but there is still a lot of rubber stamping going on.
What software will China pay for? PowerDraft, which they can buy online for US$20 (Chinese price), ProjectWise and 3D for plant design, and geospatial.
Customers are in all the verticals, with particular emphasis on plant. Utilities include “anything that touches water,” and telcom is very big.
