The technology preview found on Autodesk Labs improves teams' productivity, and ultimately client satisfaction, by virtually eliminating the manual labor previously required to develop compelling images from CAD drawings. COADE, Inc. has released PV Elite Version 2007, an enhanced edition of the company’s popular integrated vessel design and stress analysis software that incorporates the latest ASME code updates, including all of the formula and material changes required for new construction beginning in 2007, plus a number of new capabilities and features. The new version now provides built-in computation of maximum allowable working pressure (MAWP) for both sides of heat exchangers, thereby saving time and reducing guesswork. Also added are new wind and seismic codes, eliminating the time-consuming task of computing these loads by hand and importing them manually into the program, which reduces the chance for errors. Introduced by IMSI/Design at Macworld Expo, TurboSketch is a rendering plugin application for Google's SketchUp that includes the free version of SketchUp 6. It also works with SketchUp Pro 6 (new version). TurboSketch includes the industry-leading rendering engine, LightWorks® and effectively gives SketchUp and SketchUp Pro 6 a photo-realistic rendering option for Mac OS X users -- a first in the industry.
