The new version of facility management software

Allplan Allfa offers a number of innovations, from the optimized use of relevant CAD data and the entirely internet-based solution Allfa Web through to practical applications for the mobile use of Allplan Allfa.

CDV Systems released elements of its proprietary BIM/CAD to GIS and FM workflow process for "Meeting #2: Interoperability" to the Healthcare BIM Consortium. This group includes BIM leaders from Kaiser Permanente, the Department of Veterans Affairs, the U.S. Army Health Facility Planning Agency, Sutter Health and the Department of Defense -MHS.

Bricsys NV and

Tyco Fire Protection Products together announce the release of SprinkCAD for Bricscad. This leading software for Fire Protection Products - formerly only running on AutoCAD - is now available for Bricscad too. A second version for the residential market is exclusively available for Bricscad.

ZWSOFT, the global CAD/CAM specialist, announces its ZW3D 2011 Free Upgrade Program. ZW3D 2011 is the second annual version of ZW3D since ZWSOFT acquired VX, the CAD/CAM software company in July, 2010. Starting from Dec. 10th, 2010, customers who purchase ZW3D 2010 or upgrade their VX versions to ZW3D 2010 with an upgrade fee before the official release of ZW3D 2011 can receive a free upgrade to ZW3D 2011 when it becomes available in May, 2011.

Autodesk, Inc. announced Autodesk Time FX, a sculptural fluid, dynamic and interactive desktop clock, is now available on the App Store for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.

Integrated Environmental Solutions (IES), a provider of integrated performance analysis software and consulting services for sustainable building design, announces its VE-Navigator for ASHRAE 90.1 (LEED Energy) tool has been significantly enhanced to extend its already powerful facilitated energy modeling, benchmarking and reporting capabilities.

A new technology preview called Project Nucleus allows form finding for architectural conceptual design. Think of it as working as you would with Maya but you are still in Revit Architecture. The project gets its name from the Nucleus technology in Maya that has been ported over to Revit. Autodesk's plan is to also port this functionality into a future version of the Project Vasari technology preview. You can download this technology preview for Revit Architecture 2011 from the Autodesk Labs site:
