  • ArchiCAD Hotfix-5 (build 4044) has been released. Currently they are released through the automatic update system for INT, GER, USA, AUS, and NZE language versions. Other versions are under testing. This Hotfix includes numerous Teamwork-related bugfixes, including those related to the handling of large files and others that fix Teamwork crashes.

    Project Galileo Online allows users of Infrastructure Modeler to collaborate with each other on models. Using Project Galileo Online, users can publish models to the
    Autodesk cloud, invite others to access, download, and commit changes to shared models. Project Galileo Online takes advantage of another Autodesk Labs technology preview,
    Project Bluestreak, to give team members an instant messaging interface that is tied into notifications from the service.

    GstarCAD, is developing GstarCAD M, a plug-in running on iPad for the CAD users to view and edit dwg files on the mobile. With the advent of vehicles, variety delicious food as well as internet, etc., people's lives become more and more colorful. Now with iPad came into being, the applications running on it is inevitable, for the work efficiency improvement turns into urgent, among which CAD software bears the brunt and GstarCAD M emerges as the time requires.

    Intergraph has released the newest version of Standard Database for SmartPlant Reference Data, a pre-configured, best-practice solution to enable rapid implementation of SmartPlant 3D and SmartMarine 3D (collectively known as Smart 3D),and materials management. The Standard Database reduces the effort required to define items, descriptions and dimensions that satisfy requirements throughout various phases of a project by delivering a comprehensive range of commodity codes used to uniquely describe materials through a project life cycle, while employing sophisticated and exhaustive rules to maintain material description.

    AVEVA announced its participation at Offshore Europe 2011 where it will introduce two new products to the UK market – AVEVA Engineering and AVEVA Electrical.

    AVEVA Electrical creates and maintains electrical equipment and cabling data allowing considerable cost savings through a wide range of flexible automated process optimisations. AVEVA Engineering enables multi-discipline engineering teams to concurrently create and maintain engineering objects and attributes as a project is developed.

    Limitless Computing Inc., the company that provides faster rendering with cloud computing for the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry,  announced its newest product, SightSpace 3D, the first and only mobile Augmented Reality application for Google SketchUp. It is available now on the Apple App Store.
