Article source: Twins Studio With its 80-indoor seat capacity and other 80 on the open terrace, the place is located at the ground floor of Ethos House office building, but the few climbing stairs give the impression of being at height. Bistro Fratellini is in the middle of a green and quiet area, and is the suitable place for those who want to run away from the city excitement.  Image Courtesy © Twins Studio
 Image Courtesy © Twins Studio The Twins Studio team led by Mihai and Nadia Popescu created the design of this place, and came with a new concept, thinking outside the design box that made her well known. Fratellini is a daylight place, where people can have their breakfast or lunch, or their 5 o’clock tea, a chic hub meant for business or friends’ meetings. The concept combines all details of the abundant natural daylight, the classical atmosphere with minimalist modern elements, the stereotomy of the black-and-white marble with plaster stucco, made by old craftsmen like in the old times. As far as the handwork is concerned, all furniture pieces here are hand made, the lighting objects included in the Twins workshop, except for the Thonet chairs. All these details take the customers to the dolce far niente atmosphere of the Italian and French bistros. The experience is completed by an old Italian tune in the background.  Image Courtesy © Twins Studio  Image Courtesy © Twins Studio The central furniture piece is the Achille library, created by Mihai Popescu and firstly exhibited in Romania during the 2013 edition of Romanian Design Week, within the Instalart event. The object is discreet, almost invisible, but, if taken out of place, the whole ambience becomes unbalanced. Since this bistro is open only during the day, its customers can move to Uanderful afterwards, the club-lounge located right next to the bistro; they are connected through a common hallway, which intelligently unite the daylight and nighttime places.
