PremierGeo Increases Airborne Acquisition Capacity

Arvada, Colo. - January 9, 2013 - Premier Geospatial, Inc., an IHS company, announced today it has added a Leica ADS80 series sensor to support the firm’s digital aerial acquisition services. The new addition increases PremierGeo’s capacity to support customer requirements through its 3 ADS sensors and solidifies the firm’s commitment to digital imagery collection.

PremierGeo has selected Leica’s ADS digital sensor technology for the majority of its remote sensing applications throughout the past decade. PremierGeo’s sensor fleet offers large-format, multispectral image acquisition capabilities to support applications such as disaster response, agriculture monitoring, and urban planning, among others.

“The reliability, performance and capability of Leica’s ADS technology have made it the sensor of choice for some of the most challenging aerial mapping efforts in recent years,” said Peter Briere, CP, PMP and PremierGeo General Manager. “Going forward, we’re excited to offer expanded capacity to meet increasing requests for our acquisition services.”
