Warren and Mahoney Chooses Newforma for Increased Efficiency

AUCKLAND, New Zealand — (BUSINESS WIRE) — December 8, 2015Newforma, a project information management (PIM) software company transforming building and infrastructure project delivery, today announced that Warren and Mahoney, an insight-led multidisciplinary architectural practice, has chosen Newforma Project Center to support its New Zealand and Australian operations as it continues to grow its business.

Warren and Mahoney will use Newforma Project Center to follow lean protocols, control information overload and develop processes to manage building information modeling (BIM). Newforma will enable Warren and Mahoney team members to capture and access information no matter where they work as the company continues to operate in six locations functioning as a single studio.

Newforma was chosen because of its functionality, ease of use, search capabilities, and filing and retrieval systems. Because of the increased complexity of company operations in the architecture industry, Warren and Mahoney required a solution that would streamline email management, slash time required to find information, and remove risk from processes used to manage submittals and requests for information, among other everyday administrative tasks.

Grant Wilson, chief operating officer at Warren and Mahoney, said, “We place design excellence at the heart of our practice, and we look to proven tools to allow us to focus on innovation, efficiency and precision in the delivery of this work. Our practice comprises over 220 specialists working across all disciplines of architecture – workplace, interior design, master planning, urban design and sustainable design – and Newforma will enable our teams to greatly improve our efficiency and collaboration as we deliver outstanding projects for our clients. We selected Newforma after a robust process to identify the best PIM system, and we are confident the solution will deliver results immediately.”

“We’re very excited to begin working with Warren and Mahoney,” said Ian Howell, chief executive officer at Newforma. “The architecture business in New Zealand is expanding rapidly, and for Warren and Mahoney to continue to exceed client expectations, they must be able to quickly and accurately manage and share information. Solutions like the Newforma Project Center will enable their growing team of experts to consolidate their workflow for increased productivity.”
