In 2012, ArchiSnapper was founded to solve problems for an architecture studio looking for easier field reporting and punch list applications. ArchiSnapper has since offered its customers an easy application that helps save hours of time producing the highest quality field reports and punch lists. For architects and engineers using paper forms, Microsoft Word or Excel to create field reports, ArchiSnapper streamlines the entire site management process with an online tool and app. It allows for easy field report creation, punch list management and site inspection documentation.

Deltek works with thousands of firms of all sizes around the world and their solutions power the complete project lifecycle, providing 360-degree visibility into projects.

Mike Corkery, president and CEO of Deltek said they are delighted to welcome ArchiSnapper team members to Deltek Project Nation. AECCafe Voice checked in with Deltek about how they anticipate the acquisition will benefit their customers and integrate with Deltek products.

What relationship have ArchiSnapper and Deltek had prior to the acquisition?

Deltek had not previously worked with ArchiSnapper prior to the acquisition. However, we knew from listening to customer feedback that our users wanted a robust mobile field reporting solution. After looking at other potential partners, we knew ArchiSnapper was the perfect fit for Deltek and offered something that uniquely met the needs of architects and engineers.

How will current Deltek subscribers be able to access ArchiSnapper?

We are excited to offer a no strings attached, free trial to anyone that would like to try ArchiSnapper! For a true user experience, all product features are available during the trial period. Click here to learn more about this solution, and to get a free trial.

How does ArchiSnapper fit into the existing Deltek suite of products?

ArchiSnapper fits into the Deltek suite of products in a very complementary way.  Given Deltek’s focus and dedication to the AEC industry, adding ArchiSnapper to the Deltek portfolio enables us to further serve companies in this industry and meet the needs many architecture, engineering and construction firms have when it comes to field reporting.   The AEC industry turns to Deltek when looking for tools to run their business, ArchiSnapper is one more value-adding solution companies can leverage alongside and integrated with their other Deltek solutions.

An organization using both Deltek Ajera and ArchiSnapper will, likely, have a need to complete field reports.  In this case, the first step will be to setup that project in Ajera.  Once that project is setup in Ajera and the relevant contact records have been associated with the project, that information will automatically synchronize to ArchiSnapper.  Someone within the organization could then utilize the mobile app from the job site on their phone or tablet to initiate a field report.  To do this, the end user would select the project with which the field report is associated and all the information synchronized from Ajera would be available.  A new field report could then be created and information regarding weather at the time of the visit, other project team members present during the site visit and the observations made during the visit.  These observations could include photographs, references to locations within drawings along a wide range of other relevant and/or actionable information.  Once the report is complete, it can be saved to the project and distributed as needed to the required team members.
