Finalists and attendees gather to learn about the projects and ultimately to see who is awarded the winning distinction in each category. OpenSpace and Procore Integrations Streamline AI Workflows for Builders

OpenSpace, an automated 360° photo documentation and analysis company, today announced three new integrations with Procore, a provider of construction management software, expanding existing shared capabilities between the two platforms. Users will be able to embed OpenSpace virtual walkthroughs inside of Procore projects, as well as two new integrations with Procore’s RFI and Observations workflows. These new features streamline visual documentation, RFIs and QA/QC processes for builders, among other benefits.

BAM Ireland Adopts Autodesk BIM 360 and Construction IQ for Full Data Potential

Manu Venugopal, senior product manager, BIM 360 Construction IQ, Autodesk, spoke with AECCafe Voice about BAM Ireland and its data management challenges prior to adopting Autodesk BIM 360 and Construction IQ. Royal BAM is one of Europe’s most successful engineering and construction companies, with over 21,000 employees and thousands of projects ongoing each year. The sheer volume of papers and files the organization handles is astronomical and has been difficult to assemble in a useful and comprehensive way. By digitizing their workflows they were were able to achieve a 20% reduction in on-site quality and safety issues, and 25% more time to focus on high-risk items.

Deltek Acquires ComputerEase to Add Integrated Construction Solutions to Their Portfolio

Pete Mann, SVP of Corporate Development for Deltek, spoke with AECCafe Voice this week about Deltek’s acquisition of ComputerEase, a company that is known as a standard in construction accounting, project management, and field management software for contractors.
