Article source: Buratti+Battiston Architects The project is a renovation of a building previously used as garage and cars store, a prefabricated structure of ’60, converted in a showroom for BMW and MINI brands. The project is focused on the definition of the building external image, besides reorganizing the layout and viability of whole area, pointing to develop a new urban quality.  Night View
This is a “section” project, meaning that the main theme is about designing three new different sections for three different facades of the building. “Folded sections”, each one defined by three different slopes, vertical-folded-folded, joined in “diamond edges”: the street facade, more urban, is completely embossed; the lateral side is made for pedestrians designing a giant portico; the back side is a car shelter made as deep as allowed. The whole building is made by white aluminium, with a rhythm gave by panel’s joints .
