The project site is unusual shape like a home plate. At the south side, there are rich forest, it is blessed with green. The clients are young couple with child, and their parents. They wished duplex house, it is not only to keep with independent of each family but also to feel connection.
There are parents’s space and young couple’s entrance in the first floor, young couple’s space in second and third floor. Firstly, we started to consider how to import the coppice in the south to the inside space. Because of, the shape of the site is like a home plate, and the considering of view from each floor to south side, the shape of the building became to have angulation.

The north side is shut as much as possible, in making an openhearted space in the south, it can see a rich green trees from living, the dining, and kitchen anywhere. It is able to see the sea from third floor.When the weather is fine, its view gives us Mt Fuji. More over, bended shape plan make the connection of the duplex house.

At the deck of first floor and second floor, the terrace of third floor, the connection of view occur. We often see the family happily talking with each other. After day, in the courtyard surround enclosed by rich green forest, it became the private space for each family. The deck terrace used as a stage, they are enjoying music, it was harmonious scenery.
