Global view

Our proposal explores the value of the natural landscape inheritance as a design opportunity in the construction of that new Indian urbanity. The key issue is how to define a unique path to allow a soft transition, integrating both, values from urban and nature, embodying local landscape character and defining a strong landmark image for this strategic piece of Greater Noida.

Entry

Careful attention has been given to sustainable design principles, in terms to create a climatic main strategy that allow simply good practices ensuring a saving in energy consumption and reducing CO2 emissions. In that way, the project features energy-efficient solutions based into bioclimatic passive strategies

Entry BIS

We propose to complete the glimpsed pedestrian structure between the IT Blocks creating a network of Bio-streets that host the service and commercial program as well that the Incubation Center and the Small & Medium enterprises. Covering this layer, a planted roof liberates the site ground and creates a great park.

From garden terrace

Overlooked by the IT building this great public space becomes a new pedestrian green axis, dedicated to social and human interaction. This is the nerve center of the complex, and it is conceived as a climatic moderator, able to react to the annual variations in temperature. An artificial topography will bring relief to landscape, water ponds, groves and small vegetation, bringing fresh air, and sheltering biodiversity.

Backside

Elevated 15 m above the park, the Sky Campus take place, hosting the institutional facilities (Research institute and Health and Care center) This artificial canopy has a bioclimatic function protecting common space from rain and winds and providing shadow in summer. An agricultural garden is envisioned on its roof.

Biostrets

The large scale void between the plate and the park enhances connectivity among the existing IT buildings and creates a visual connection across the site between the Yamuna expressway and the Yamuna river landscape.  The design proposed explores the converging of urban and natural landscapes. A tower over the sky campus hosts the hotel and the apartments. Between the two program units, a green vertical rift garden is unveiled becoming a green urban landmark.
