The Project for two office buildings located on Parque das Nações fits into a rectangular lot with three fronts. They are isolated structures that rise from a common landscaped platform and are compatible in size. A parallelepiped finishes the top of the block while it encloses the plaza outlined by the H shaped building. The main entrances of both buildings meet face to face in this public space interstitial to the street level which is extended on the upper level garden where one may walk around and take in the surroundings.

The Swedish branch of C. F. Møller Architects, Berg Arkitektkontor, has designed Sweden’s new, spectacular skiing attraction, Skipark 360°, the world’s most complete indoor ski park with e.g. a 700 m long downhill slope and a drop of 160 m, making it the only indoor ski slope in the world to meet the requirements for hosting the World Cup.
The Atelier Notify constitutes a hybrid, part shop, part production line – presenting a fluid facade to the exterior, striking an elegant sculptural gesture within – creating a powerful dynamic flow which moves customers through both the space and the processes involved in the creation of denim garments.
The project is a process that starts from a scenario initiated by the various constraints of the site and the program, and which evolves positively thanks to the landscape observation, the place use,… It appears essential for us to think the place and the building like an inseparable combination.
Situated in a tranquil environment of one of the best vocational schools in Beijing, the project aims at providing an iconic image to the institution as well as redefining the use of an existing public space on the central square of the campus.
The Austrian Pavilion at the EXPO 2008 in Zaragoza was designed by an interdisciplinary team formed by SOLID architecture, Michael Strauss and Scott Ritter. For the EXPO 2008 the participating countries rented spaces in buildings provided by the organizer. The room made available for the Austrian pavilion had a semi-circular shape. The central idea of the design concept was to double that shape to the figure of a cylinder by using a floor-to-ceiling mirror. This mirror extended along the length of the room and doubled a digital 180° projection on the curved interior wall into a 360° panorama. By means of digital projection the panorama underwent permanent changes.

Young architects dream about designing and building big houses. However, the reality is quite the opposite – they work on small scale commissions. FiuFiu boutique is one of those petite spaces and its concept is based on yearning for making homes even of papermache.
