Lately, the sleek curved shape of a rollercoaster highlights widely visible the highest peak of the park-‐like designed Heinrich Hildebrand Höhe in the South of Duisburg. The dynamic sweeps and curves of the construction inscribe themselves like a signature into the scenery and soar till the height of 21 meters. From a distance the metallic glossy track creates the impression of speed and exceeding acceleration. Viewed from close up, the supposed lane turns out to be a stairway which, elaborately winding, follows the course of the rollercoaster. The visitor can climb the art work by foot. Although the course describes a closed loop, it is impossible to accomplish it as the looping emerges to be a physical barrier. On top, at the highest point of the sculpture – 45 meters above ground – the visitor is rewarded with an extraordinary view over the landscape of the Western Ruhr.
The Court of Justice is one of two iconic projects within the new urban development around the main rail station. The logistics and siting of a courthouse with multiple security barriers of security results in a massing composed of three interconnected volumes. References include the old industrial steel structures that formerly occupied and defined the site, their organic Belgian Art Nouveau forms constituting part of the cultural heritage of Hasselt. There are also echoes of a tree, which, in addition to being is the Hasselt town emblem, as well as also harks back to the historicpre-medieval European tradition of holding a special “place of speaking justice” underneath a large tree in the center of a dwelling.

Designed to conserve space whilst maximizing live/work/play areas, The Scotts Tower presents a new dimension of functional and flexible vertical space.
Kindergarten Ajda is the extension a kindergarten in Ravne na Koroškem, a Slovene town well known for its long tradition of manufacturing steel. Ajda is located in a housing neighborhood built in the 1980s. It has replaced a former temporary kindergarten extension, which was set up from three containers and had one playroom, offering at the time immediate relief for lack of kindergarten space. Since containers proved a good solution, the local authorities commissioned the new, permanent kindergarten extension to be built out of containers as well13 containers ISO 20’ were therefore added to the three existing ones and all of them carefully incorporated into a unique whole, once again showing the ease with which containers help efficiently and quickly manage building size: as they are added or removed, container buildings can grow larger or smaller. Ajda’s containers are arranged into clusters and joined by a single roof, with spaces in between used for various purposes, such as dressing room, covered terraces and multi-purpose entrance. Since the frame structure of the kindergarten is from containers, the result is a spacious kindergarten constructed within a budget lower than that of an average Slovene kindergarten.
This project in Sarasota, Florida centered on creating an elegant backyard living space in which the Owners could live and entertain. Both design professionals, they requested a new pool house, pool and landscape layout that embraced modern design but had a sensitivity to the adjacent 1926 historic home that would share the site.

House Y was planned for a family with 3 adolescent children, and privacy aspects played an important role in the design.
The lot is large, sloped, and has attractive open views. We placed the house in the middle of a huge garden, lower than the street level so it is almost hidden from it, in accordance with the client wish.
The present proposal occupies a central position in relation to urban design of the city of Accra. It has place in a regular small sized plot, located on Liberia Road, near to the British Council.
The scale of the urban mesh on which it is inserted, stands from the density of the suburban construction that surrounds this central area of the city, underlining a privileged treatment of the spaces. In this sense, as a major action, with an ambitious program, it was understood that the planned object should take advantage of all these constraints in order to be able to assume an emblematic role in the urban and architectonic context of the city.
The brief was to simply refurbish and recondition an existing house to reach contemporary living standards and a modern appearance. The owners have a small business of their own which requires an office with a separate entrance for future clients. The house is a typical 1970′ polish neighborhood semi-detached house. The only difference was that the other part of the house was never built.
The site for these three mews dwellings is located on an industrial lane way in Dublin 8, previously devoid of domestic life. This industrial setting was instrumental in informing the architectural language of these dwellings. From the outside, the three dwellings appear as a mysterious, robust and impenetrable mass. The cantilevered upper section is a composition of powder coated metal industrial flooring planks arranged in a structural steel frame. These voile like planks have been laid out in varying widths to create a rhythm to the street elevation and have been periodically doubled in depth creating a moiré or interference pattern.
