The Grey Group Roof Deck is an alternative work and entertainment space on the roof of this renowned advertising agency’s Flatiron office building. The project aims to create a space with an iconic presence. A vehicle for culture building, the deck is used for work and entertainment at all scales, from a private refuge to collaborative meetings and workshops to larger events and launch parties.
eXtra-eXtra-Small House is located in a specific part of the centre of Ljubljana. The neighbourhood called Krakovo has a structure of a historical village, which was in the Middle Ages supplying the nearby monastery with fresh food and is today highly protected historical area. The basic dimensions of the new house were already defined by law according to the volume of the pre-existing house, hundred years ago working as a service building of a traditional house next-door.

Factory Business Center (http://www.factoryworkstyle.com) is a business center located on the out-skirts of Braga (north of Portugal), with a bright ‘POP-ART’ decorative style within an industrial pavilion which rents ‘turn-key’ office spaces.

This 4 bedroom house is sited on an irregular shaped block of land on the slope above Sydney’s Balmoral Beach. The 2 side boundaries of the site are not parallel and there is a significant diagonal cross fall from southwest to northeast, in addition there are 4 substantial gum trees on the site which have all been retained and integrated into the design of the house.
AWP, Office for Territorial Reconfiguration (Marc Armengaud, Matthias Armengaud, Alessandra Cianchetta), was named in July the general contractor for the landscaping of the public spaces and follies situated at the foot of the Grande Arche. The site, located near the future Arena 92 in the Jardins de l’Arche neighborhood, serves as a space for genuine interchange between La Défense and Seine-Arche. The urbanists at AWP are equally responsible for a guide plan for Defacto that will enhance the urban space of La Défense’s business district.
The building of The New Parador is the result of a long team process originating from the initiative of Paradores de Turismo to organize a contest that convened a selected group of Spanish architectural offices.
Paradores de Turismo searches for an emblematic architectural solution in a difficult and delicate location such as The Old Complex of El Colegio de Santo Tomás. Dating from the 16th century, the Complex was in use (lastly as a female penitentiary) until very recently, when it was destroyed by fire and abandoned.

The Technikum III laboratory aspires to integrate various fragments on the site: the laboratory spaces, the existing institute buildings and the urban context.This is achieved by “defibration” – the de-laminating of the building volume and facade – which generates a building that is both simple and complex in its reaction to functional demands.
To adapt this old farmhouse to a dwelling-house the only necessary intervention was to demolish the partition walls. The house’s social areas were placed in the existing volume. Only a wooden “little box” was set to screen the kitchen area. To host the bedrooms a box unattached to the ground, coated with z – shaped corten steel profiles, was created. In a singular way, the conjunct reminds the traditional rural assemblage of the threshing-floor, granary and farmhouse, as well as a text by Alberto Campo Baeza on boxes: “Caixas, Caixinhas e Caixotes”

The concept is characterized by modernity and respect by the country’s cultural roots, optimizing its identity and the richness of the ecosystem where it belongs. Sustainability is also a privileged feature in every strand.
