Bella Italia is a wine store as well as a restaurant. The owner is a typical warmhearted Sicilian woman. While selling the products of her home country and offering a creative home-style cuisine on an upscale level she transfers the Italian spirit to Germany. “Bella Italia Weine” was run for many years in a small living-room-like place with a very personal atmosphere. To extend the sales area as well as the capacity of seats she decided to move to a new location.
The new building, part of Nestlés social block at the Granero factory (VI Región – Chile), uses a variety of bioclimatic strategies, within a company policy of rational use of energy resources and economics in the 21th century. These strategies favorite the usage of natural resources, passive ventilation systems, air-condition and cleaning for inside spaces, natural controlled illumination, effective cost savings in the use of hydrological resources (water consumption of restrooms, etc), by trend to find the best sustainability, quality of life, rational use of resources and protection of the environment.

Rios Clementi Hale Studios Transforms Under-Used Space Into Vibrant Public Plaza
The new Sunset Triangle Plaza is set to open under the auspices of Streets for People (S4P), an initiative of the City of Los Angeles Planning Commission and the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. Noted design firm Rios Clementi Hale Studios contributed its time and talents to transform an underutilized public right of way into a safe, pleasant, and vibrant public space for pedestrians and cyclists alike. Located at Griffith Park and Sunset Boulevards in the Silver Lake area of Los Angeles, Sunset Triangle Plaza opens on Sunday, March 4, 2012, at 11AM, for a community celebration.

The aim of the project was to revitalize a dismissed industrial area with a residential building. The challenge was to work within the parameters of good design and a low budget to provide the city with quality architecture while respecting the commercial space requirements of the client.
The resulting project provides a substantial architectural impact with respect to the smaller buildings of the area that are characterized by a broad range of building styles.
Our proposal for the New Church of Våler is placed in the southern part of the project area in continuity with the ancient church, attempting to recover not only the orientation of it, but also the memory. The proposed design refers at the boat: the boat as a symbol of Christianity that welcomes and protects within it the faithful; the Drakkar as tribute at the exploratory tradition of the Norwegian people.

At the extension of the axis of the fifth avenue, pier museum becomes the ending of the urban space above the sea. The typology of building expresses the conversion and interaction of spatial energy. Simulating the natural growth, along the view toward the seascape in distance, the structure stretch from the beach end to the sea, converts the city space formed by street to a floating seascape terrace, planar pier evolutes to an organic structure, and provides the free path of promenade above the sea level.
Software used: Mcneel Rhinoceros 4.0 for modeling; Maxwell Render 1.6 for rendering; Autodesk AutoCAD 2007 for drawings and Adobe Photoshop 9.0 for final process.
The site “Österreichischer Platz“ is situated on the edge of Stuttgart’s city center.
Its function has not changed a bit in the last 40 years, it is surrounded by and isolated through highways, it is used as a parking lot and also as a meeting point for dubious people. The people have almost forgotten about it somehow after being in a bad state for years. But now the rhythm as well as the character of the surrounding highway will be interrupted by 55 piled-up sea containers
The Legacy Heritage Children’s Home Provides Housing and Care for Children Undergoing Heart Surgeries in Israel
Save a Child’s Heart (SACH) recently opened its new house –the Legacy Heritage Children’s Home, located in the city of Holon, five km. from Tel Aviv, in Israel. The house provides housing for children who need life-saving heart surgeries, their families, as well as nurses, doctors and volunteers.
Situated in one of the ranges of the Berkeley Hills, this project is located in a 1950s modern house, designed to embrace a spectacular view on one side while wrapping around an inner courtyard garden pushed against an upper stone retaining wall. This interior courtyard is the subject of design consideration for an installation driven by the desire to define the garden space with a visual destination from the interior rooms.
The Extension to the Denver Art Museum, The Frederic C. Hamilton Building, is an expansion and addition to the existing museum, designed by the Italian Architect Gio Ponti. The 146,000-square-foot extension, which opened in October 2006, currently houses the Modern and Contemporary art collections as well as the collections of Oceanic and African Art.
