Liquid Glacial Table in London by Zaha Hadid Architects

Tuesday, December 18th, 2012

Article source: Zaha Hadid Architects

The Liquid Glacial design embeds surface complexity and refraction within a powerful fluid dynamic. The elementary geometry of the flat table top appears transformed from static to fluid by the subtle waves and ripples evident below the surface, while the table’s legs seem to pour from the horizontal in an intense vortex of water frozen in time.

Article source: Gonzalez Moix Arquitectura

We had to solve an a typical project, a design center, where creativity and art should be blended and be offered to the user. The shops should have the same condition, without creating differences between the front and back. After solving the first floor with two locals, we made in the second and third floor 8 offices or locals arranged beside a yard with domestic scale.

Arteology in Auvergne Region, France by Atelier 37.2

Tuesday, December 18th, 2012

Article source: Atelier 37.2

The Nature in the volcanic region of Auvergne has something definitely sacred. It seems to be invisibly linked with the idea of art. Our approach, as artists, is to search this specific nature in order to let the fear, the mystery, the metaphysical and spiritual questioning appears from the volcanic memory.
