It may have become fewer these days, but many people still have experiences of eating or relaxing with families beneath a tree, or climbing trees to find their own space to play.
It is just a metaphor, but the desirable place for a family to gather and spend time may be somewhere like beneath a tree, laid-back, with moderate sunshine and comfortable breeze.

Mineirão Stadium and Pampulha neighborhood were conceived during the 40´s, at the beginning of the structuralist fever that would conduct the economic policies of Brazil during the following decades. Not by coincidence, Pampulha´s mentor was Juscelino Kubitschek, then mayor of the city of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, who granted commissions to vanguard professionals such as young Oscar Niemeyer and Roberto Burle Marx to capture the essence of his modern envisions. Quite a successful essay for his Brasilia from 1960.
The project was submitted to the invited competition opened by the Municipality of Beyoglu to replace their existing building on Istiklal Avenue.
1st basement and ground floor were planned as an art gallery, whereas each of the upper floors were solved as different units of the municipality. The roof floor was allocated to the mayor’s spaces.

Happy Panda is a new restaurant located within the Paseo San Francisco shopping center in Cumbaya, Ecuador.
The existing site was a long and narrow shoe box shaped volume. Our analysis of the client’s needs revealed that in order to best serve different customer types, a private dining space was required in addition to a larger and more public dining area. We split the dining space in two by placing the service areas in between. The private space was placed in the back, while the public dining area faces the entrance. This had the added benefit of improving the overall proportions and feel of the space, which otherwise would have been overly stretched and corridor-like. We also raised the kitchen onto a mezzanine level in order to free up more space for seating and a bar.
Located in the heart of Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, Carré Privé Ouest – the first luxury brand department store – is a new partner to the world of luxury goods. As fashion and luxury shops around the world have expanded, new ways of selling off emerged. Whatever their wealth, consumers are constantly in search of more immediate access to major brands, and the luxury brands themselves wish to reach out to these new customers without harming their own high-value image.

The plot has a leaning slope towards the direction North South, so that the construction is located at the North of it, leaving as much space as possible in the South direction.
STUDIO V Architecture’s design for the Stamford Transportation Center and surrounding area was chosen the preferred scheme in a $500 million redevelopment competition put forth by the Connecticut Department of Transportation. Stamford’s station has grown to become the second largest in the region after Grand Central Terminal, rendering its current disjointed infrastructure and surrounding architecture obsolete. STUDIO V teamed with developer Stamford Manhattan Development Ventures (SMDV) to transform this traffic-congested station into a dramatic new 24-hour community that reconnects Downtown Stamford to the South End and the city’s waterfront.
MAVA´S house is placed in “Beranda ”urbanization, wich is located in between Cachagua´s and maitencillo´s spas in Chile. The location is in a really strong slope, with a radical sight to Pacific Ocean. It is exposed to South-West winds.
The main strategy was to create a big terrace, creating this “new floor” that would allow the “leisure life” and make even more perceptible the Ocean sight, Offering a unique relationship between the inhabitant and the horizon line, the same way as the cliffs do.
