Villas Finestre in Ixtapa, México by CC ARQUITECTOS / MANUEL CERVANTES CESPEDES

Saturday, October 4th, 2014

Article source: CC ARQUITECTOS / MANUEL CERVANTES CESPEDES

The villas were planned as a delicate project insertion on the site and its environment. Based on this, the main guidelines for their design were: topography, natural environment and the solar orientation. After highly considering these factors, a series of spaces where placed in direct unification of the exterior with the interior, making sure the privacy of different owners and their views were respected.

HOME CAPITAL in Brasília – DF, Brazil by Ney Lima

Saturday, October 4th, 2014

Article source: Ney Lima

The house of architecture influenced by movements that emerged in the 60s – the same as the construction of Brasilia – has no such historical recovery by mere coincidence. The result was a request of residents who love the modernist style and one of the Brazil Capital and from the decision of the architect who chose to create a coherent work with the city, which today is the greatest living example of that school, that clashes with the local context.

Saturday, October 4th, 2014

Article source: Lithos Design srl

Lithos Design is among the companies that the architects’ studio MAS has selected for the refurbishment and renovation project for the exteriors of the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Bahrain.

The aim of the refurbishment was to extend the food & beverage area with an ensuing greater recreational offering for guests in the outdoor area, spanning 9,000 m2. To achieve the objective set by the customer, MAS architecture worked on the connection between the central part of the hotel and the beach, removing all physical obstacles and using architectural elements whose finishes were able to enhance the value of the atmosphere and the soft and relaxing colours of the new landscape.

LOPEZ HOUSE in Eagle Rock, California by Martin Fenlon Architecture

Saturday, October 4th, 2014

Article source: Martin Fenlon Architecture

This project, located in the Eagle Rock area of Los Angeles, is situated on an irregularly-shaped, steeply-sloping lot. Faced with a limited budget, it was particularly challenging to negotiate the constraints of the lot while taking advantage of the site’s sweeping view. The owners wanted the house to evoke the area’s craftsmen architecture, so this vernacular served as a basis for the design.

Article source: Kohki Hiranuma Architect & Associates

The location became a Housing Expo at around 90 years ago as its quiet ambiance remains from the inherited residential surroundings. However, after 11 months of research and analyzing the environment, the convenience of people was adopted for their essential needs in everyday life with the flow of time. Having this condition, Timber Dentistry will stand as an iconic architecture that signifies its remaining value, which in the future, endeavors to mend the environmental conflicts.

Urban Spa in São Paulo, Brazil by WeNew Innovation

Saturday, October 4th, 2014

Article source: WeNew Innovation

The Urban Spa was created exploring the thematic and symbols found on the streets. This is a business model for the young entrepreneur, between 25 to 40 years, which corresponds to 35% of the growth of companies in Brazil.
The idea is to have a space that provides a new look and contemporary tools of wellness & well being to help these new entrepreneurs to better cope with their stressful work demand. In this project, the Luxury found in most spas gives room to a more stripped and irreverent kind of spa.
