‘Public area’ is further than ‘Private area’ and it is necessity to make a ‘collectivity life’ through the city community and civil society. Moreover, the character of Public area is the character of the city and quality of public area shows the standard of the city.
Marronnier park couldn’t positioned between ‘neighborhood park’ and ‘public area’ before. Until now, every ruins of desire is accumulated, for instance functions, facilities and sculptures that doesn’t harmonized each other.
The project is located in Krokskogen forests, outside the town of Hønefoss. Its location on a steep slope gives a fantastic view over the lake Steinsfjorden.
The site is often exposed to strong winds, so the cabin is organized around several outdoors spaces that provide shelter from the wind and receives the sun at different times of the day.

This is ISANA, a multi-layered row house in Musashino City, Tokyo. The owner of the house informed us that it is customary in his home country of India to build some rooms for rent along with the construction of a new house. Following the custom, we planned the owner’s house with the floor area of approximately 70m2 plus rental housing units with floor areas from 25m2 to 30m2.

BOSTON, December 5, 2014 — Safdie Architects has been appointed to design a major new addition to Singapore Changi Airport, which is the sixth busiest international airport in the world, handling more than 53.7 million passengers in 2013. The new development, also known as Jewel Changi Airport (Jewel), will enhance Changi Airport’s position as a major aviation hub, integrating airport facilities with shopping, entertainment, and leisure activity to create a public gathering space for Singaporeans and international travelers and establish a new model for airports as discrete destinations.
At the heart of the Colonia Americana a 5 story project is designed inspired by the industrial buildings of the inter-war period. The main façade has an orthodox abstract rhythm of void and filled spaces that do not follow any structural order. The voids themselves have a second protective lattice with falling crosses evocative of similar lattices often used in the area by the Escuela Tapatía.
This project involved the expansion of a spacious single-story Outremont residence built in the 1960s. Situated on a site with a steep incline and majestic view, the two-floor expansion was designed to offer a generous window on the horizon.
The architectural concept involved the addition of living spaces in the form of a long ribbon situated laterally to and in line with the contours of the existing structure. This ribbon folds and unfolds, thus offering multiple views of the surrounding landscape.
The environment present in the city is the cityscape that creates the characteristic of the town. It is a form of elevation that our eye can capture.
