Nestor Hotel Neckarsulm in Germany by DIA – Dittel ArchitektenSaturday, December 5th, 2015Article source: DIA – Dittel Architekten The architectural firm DITTEL | ARCHITEKTEN has developed and implemented a holistic new space concept for the nestor Hotel Neckarsulm. The redesign includes the entrance area with reception and lobby as well as the bar, lounge and restaurant and covers an area of 500 square metres. The change is aimed at presenting a clear design that welcomes and guides the guest while creating a pleasant atmosphere. The hotel was opened again in September 2015. Campus der TH Wildau in Germany by SEHW ArchitectureSaturday, December 5th, 2015Article source: SEHW Architecture The Campus of the technical university is located on the premises of a former railway engine plant. In line with a large building project and competition in 2006, SEHW Architecture has carried out the campus extension. Biesbosch Museum Island in Werkendam, Netherlands by Studio Marco VermeulenSaturday, December 5th, 2015Article source: Studio Marco Vermeulen After an eight-month renovation, the Biesbosch Museum reopened to the public this summer. The museum has been completely transformed and extended with a new wing that opens to its beautiful surroundings and houses a restaurant and temporary exhibition space for contemporary art. The permanent exhibition that explains the historical development of the region has also been totally revamped. A large water model of the Biesbosch and a freshwater tidal park are also planned on the Museum Island.
