Article source: Leadson Architects This project follows an elegant touch adding a sense of comfort and cozyness for its owner. The concept wants to highlight that no matter how sober or classical is the atmosphere, the presence of a green spot is appropriate. The entire floor serves as the manager’s office. It has a few subareas for different activities including an area for conferences, one for lounge & leisure, office discussions with clients, a work desk, a terrace and the secretary desk.
To partition the space, there were used blurred patterned gradient glass walls, offering more style in their graphics. These glass panels close partially the meeting area, alternately creates a hallway, considerably wider, which goes directly to the entry area. There are two types of flooring: laminated parquet and carpet to highlight the meeting area. The ceiling however is covered in glass, leaving few empty strips for spotlights, everything set to give a feeling of a more higher space than it actually is. The conference area includes a walnut table, supported by a massive central leg to use it more efficiently. Seats are upholstered in fine leather and chromed accessories Near the meeting area is the lounge, set close to natural light and one of the two exists towards outdoor terrace. Its components in neutral and complementary textures suggest a home living in order to encourage more relaxed conversations.Tweed carpet and red lamps give cozyness, sketching a limit to this talk area. The bookcase is an attempt to break the order with its small fine details, enhanced by spotlights and the olive green wall behind. Outer perimeter walls are clad in black veneer oak wood. Manager’s office as an object, it is completely glass, two sheets overlapped and perpendicular. Alongside there is another bookcase, which includes personal items, honors, awards, books and miniature paintings. Also there is a second more intimate workspace, between the two is a greenery to keep alive optimism and strength work. The personal desk has the top, the seat and a few accessories upholstered in leather and the rest of the elements are chromed. This part of the set has a more private purpose, being placed behind the glass wall though keeping a large opening towards outdoor terrace. The secretary desk near the entrance and the hallway covers a third of the general surface. All spaces have been designed in compliance with the ideal proportions between functionality and style. The final recommendation is to bring as many elements common with work and purpose of the company, without neglecting the spaciousness, utility and aesthetics. Contact Leadson Architects
