Remarkable Historic Landmark House in Jerusalem, Israel by Annette Frommer Interior DesignAugust 1st, 2018 by Sumit Singhal
Article source: Annette Frommer Interior Design A remarkable historic landmark house with a huge garden built in 1930’s. The studio was careful to maintain the character of the rooms and strived to return the beauty and glory to this former mansion. Due to the strict regulations the exterior was not allowed to be altered, even the original iron front doors and porch railings had to be restored.
The only addition permitted was a sunroom. It was designed in a minimalistic style and exudes elegance and sophistication, providing contrast to the century-old abode. The house includes vast rooms for entertainment and many captivating bedroom suites, while the master bedroom contains a sleek circular stairway that goes all the way up to the rooftop. A large SieMatic kitchen caters to large crowds and breathtaking 15-feet high ceilings can be observed while sitting in the plush family room. Brass, an ideal timeless material, was used to create an elegant and refined look, and the cool color palette, along with marble and glass, affords a lavish and opulent feel. The main powder room is done in onyx and clad with mirrors, while the master bathroom was completed with Statuario marble and Lefroy Brooks fittings. Contact Annette Frommer Interior Design
