Thursday, April 30th, 2020

Article source: Studio8

PINZHEN GALERIES, formerly known as Huaxia Pawnshop, is a jewellery, and luxury goods distribution and service platform with a history of 25 years and a wide range of businesses including pawning, retail, appraisal, maintenance and other services. It is a new retail form advocating a more sustainable product circulation lifestyle. The original brand image resembled a pure Chinese style and was familiar to and well-received by many consumers. Through the brand upgrade, the biggest challenge was to inherit the traditional elements from the brand’s past, and combine them with a new contemporary and international image.

Beton House in Katowice, Poland by Betonhouse | Design

Minimalism in a concrete version. Implementation of the project is the fulfillment of our dreams. We have designed the house to take full advantage of the southern side of the plot. Large glazing, sliding windows allow us to constantly interact with the surrounding nature.

In front of the south glass façade we have designed a large “reflex” – a shallow water reservoir, which has the task of reflecting light rays into the interior of the house, which, dancing on the ceiling, create an extraordinary atmosphere.

Hogsons Smoked House in Yucatan, Mexico by R79

Wednesday, April 29th, 2020

Article source: R79

With several years of path and delighting the most demanding palates in Yucatan, GLaR decided to start a new gastronomic adventure, on the same steaky line but this time with a new approach, resulting from traveling and the enthusiasm for Texan cooking.

The first step was finding the perfect place, so after months of search, it was found, a little jewel in a quiet area in the north of the city. It was suspended on time; the past owner was an old lady with a particular taste in gardening. This was the triggering point: the lush vegetation.
