Following a sharp increase in the demand for sports facilities, the Vernier Stadium, located in Geneva mandated our firm to design and deliver the extension of the changing rooms.
Facing the playing field, the extension of the building is located on the ground floor and contains 12 changing room and all the necessary facilities.
The building reveals the repetition of the premises it hosts and expresses the simplicity and rationality of its implementation. A unifying cover opens generously on the sports fields and distributions all the locker rooms. It serves multiple purposes such as providing an area of fluid passageway, a convenient meeting point and an area for shade in the summer time. It is the link between the entire building.
The context of the project is already contained in the same title of the project task: Church St. Ana and Social center Vežica. This public and social context is only enhanced by the presence of a school in direct contact with the location of the project, but also the park that connects everything, and functions as a certain 'green spine'. The church is therefore in direct dialogue with the social center and park, so the project puts emphasis on these two spatial relations by means of an 'atrium' and a 'porch', two strong architectural elements trough which a place becomes a 'position'.
Located in the town of Sayulita, on the Mexican pacific coast, the immediate the land on which the project was to be developed is dominated by beautiful jungle views, which inevitably became central to the architectural concept. Hoping to tap into the tourist rental market, the clients requested a detached one-bedroom unit which we placed at the lower end of the lot, above a 2 car garage and storage space.
The rolling hills in the east of Chongqing have always been a remarkable landscape, but presented serious traffic problems then. The newly constructed roads in the past 20 years successfully negotiated their way through this area and met its residents’ traveling needs.
Road-upgrade was not the only change. What the residents are enjoying now are increasing income, subsidies, tap water, natural gas, and Internet, despite the fact that broadcasting programs introducing welfare policies as well as offering get-rich tips still serve as a vivid reminder of hardships 30 years ago.
A good space resembles a slowly opened book, with its colorful plot, intriguing story, and layers of changes. It generates an unknown environment which not connected to individual consciousness, cultural standard, and personal experience. It is delicate and subtle, yet users would be able to echo its sentiment.
Upon stepping into the space, the arch is built into a circle. Three quarters were outside, while the last quarter remains indoor. They not only echo respond to each other, but also embrace new visitors.
A children’s library for a dong minority rural village.
The Gaobu Book House serves the 2,500 people of Gaobu Village, one of the Dong minority villages in China. Like many other Chinese villages, Gaobu Village is challenged by “village-hollowing” in which the working-age population migrate. The Dong Minority community of China possess a unique cultural heritage rooted in land and customs. After surviving hundreds of years, modernization today poses a serious threat to Dong’s identity.
Rather than accepting urban migration as a given, this project aims to restore dignity and induce development by proposing a small children’s library project. Playing and curiosity come natural to children, hence our design generates an “active” architecture that allows children to engage and absorb knowledge through playing.
Recently 5 houses have been delivered in Delden. The project borders on two special landscape elements. On the north side a green space with beautiful oak trees (the green). On the south side the water and the canal. The quay is toothed. This is reminiscent of old fortifications, the starting point for the plan “The Fortress of Delden”.

The project lies at the heart of central London’s exclusive Mayfair Conservation area in Westminster. The commission consisted in a complete redesign of an existing apartment at 4th floor level. The 6-storey apartment block with retail units on the ground floor was built in the 1960ies and it’s reinforced concrete framework supported by a single central column enabled a complete floorplan re-organisation of the apartment. The bright open plan living-room with an adaptable kitchen island is allocated to face the lively property front, whilst both bedrooms overlook the quieter back of the building block.
This retail store has been designed keeping in mind the aesthetic of the brand. Since the product design is based on a fusion of eastern and western wear giving a vibrant and colorful look, the store has been kept minimal in terms of color so the focus is always on the product rather than the architecture/interior.
All the design elements are in black and white so that the product can be emphasized and displayed in a clutter free manner. The form of the fixtures allow maximum display in minimum space.each fixture was designed keeping in mind the product range of the brand. Eahc fixture is multi functional, can display garments vetically and horizontally.
