AEB Headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany by Ippolito Fleitz Group GmbH

Friday, March 29th, 2019

Article source: Ippolito Fleitz Group GmbH

The new Stuttgart-Möhringen headquarters of AEB, a leading manufacturer of logistics and foreign trade software, fulfil a life dream of the company’s founder: all employees in Stuttgart are now united under one roof. Stuttgart-based architectural firm Riehle+Assoziierte has designed a new building that fulfils the desire for a transparent architecture. The office space with its 400 workstations is arranged around a four-storey-high atrium that allows for circumferential movement. We in turn have created a differentiated offering of work and communication worlds, effectively translating the company philosophy ‘offen.kundig.eigen.bestimmt.weiter.führend.gut’ into a stimulating interior architecture.

Omnicos cosmetics in Crema, Italy by Beppe Riboli Studio

Monday, March 25th, 2019

Article source: Beppe Riboli Studio

Three different architectures describe a unique architectonic scenery.

1. The Headquarter

I wanted it to be a light, suspended architecture, like a swarm of butterflies.

It’s a manifest, communicates the company’s philosophy and creativity.

The box- esternal skin is crossed and supported by sinuous waves, to form spaces, empty and full, offices, gardens, terraces.

Here everything is white, clean, aseptic.

Article source: Unsangdong Architects

Headquarter: A headquarter office is the place that understands the culture of the company and delivers comfort to workers; an architecture that embodies the corporate and realizes future value and dream. It should embody the essence of the corporate spirit that communicates with consumers and citizens.

Incorporating the corporate spirit of “Change and Innovation”: We aim to embody the corporate philosophy of Midong Electronics – to improve through continuous change and innovation. The building does not follow the form of existing architecture, rather embodies innovation.

Architecture of “Warmth and Brightness”: We pursue an architecture that carries happiness to workers rather than a heavy, authoritative building. We propose eco-friendly space and warm, bright interior.

Private Office in Chicago, Illinois by Alvisi Kirimoto

Sunday, March 10th, 2019

Article source: Alvisi Kirimoto

Suspended between the clouds, but firmly rooted in their surroundings, the executive offices designed by Rome-based architectural firm Alvisi Kirimoto occupy the entire 32nd floor of a newly built skyscraper in the lively ex-industrial district of West Loop, Chicago. The project, designed to accommodate the client’s headquarters and showcase part of his art collection, fills an area of 2,600 sq. m, within a 224-meter high building located in the heart of the city, on the bank of the homonymous river.

The architects Massimo Alvisi and Junko Kirimoto describe the experience of encountering the space, as follows: “The moment you leave the elevators, arriving on the 32nd floor, you feel as if you were immersing yourself again in the city – at a different height and perspective, of course, but with your feet well planted in the streets of Chicago. It is precisely the layout of the city with its surprises that we strive to project within this space: we stroll through pieces of contemporary and oriental art, or archeology, surprised occasionally by strong colors or the unusual double heights of a skyscraper, guided by the tight rhythm of the walls, the light and the visual axes. In fact, our first instinct was to leave the corners free to maintain constant eye contact with the city. ”

Magazzin in Gorizia, Italy by studio-a29

Wednesday, March 6th, 2019

Article source: studio-a29

Magazzin is the operational headquarters of the Cooperativa Arcobaleno and the Orti Goriziani, located in the heart of Gorizia in a former stable.

The structure has been restored with an industrial character to make the building contemporary and suitable for the hosted functions.

The structural freedom in the plan has given the possibility to transform the existing building into a large open space designed to accommodate three operational functions:

• Coworking
• Exhibition space
• Vegetable sales area

The hierarchy of functions determined the character of the project and its physiognomy, turning needs into opportunities.

Article source: Architectengroep PSK

At the beginning of 2019, Nelissen Steenfabrieken literally put its need to innovate in the spotlight with new state-of-the-art headquarters, including an impressive, eye-catching showroom, on the Kiezelweg in Kesselt, Lanaken. The building represents the triple foundation of the company: innovation, co-creation, and sustainability.

The fourth generation of the Nelissen Steenfabrieken family company means business. By opening this state-of-the-art office building and experimental showroom designed by the Architectengroep PSK and UAU collectiv, Nelissen Steenfabrieken will resolutely take the lead as the forerunner in the brick industry in 2019.

The new building houses digital experimentation rooms for designers, an Experience room with a large curved, 180°-screen, and meeting rooms that can be reserved for project consultations or other meetings. “The renewed site will act as a facilitator for creative people who want to work with us to move the construction sector forward sustainably,” said the directors.

Catalan Government Headquarters in Tarragona, Spain by Estudio Carme Pinós

Monday, March 4th, 2019

Article source: Estudio Carme Pinós

Our project is located in the middle of an old and compact urban area where historical buildings are lined up with the streets. We didn’t want to break this rhythm so we have also chosen to line up with the main street.

The shape of the building and its inclined façades respond to the wish of creating three articulated squares, more adapted to the neighborhood character, instead of a big square which, due to the scarce architectonic value of the adjacent buildings, we believe inappropriate.
