The house is located in outskirts of Bangkok. The 320 m2 land plot is adjacent from main family house. This house is designed for a married couple and their children.
The background idea of space planning is based from Feng shui, but architectural statements must be expressed modernism. The 3 storey is formed by simple boxes geometry with feature of sliding timber screens along balcony at second floor. The timber screens are used as sun shading and privacy screen.
Harbor Springs Bluff House’s raison d’etre is its sweeping view of Little Traverse Bay. Nothing impedes the intimacy one experiences with nature; the house is a theater with the bluff and the bay providing the performance. As you arrive down the axial driveway, the trees on the site frame the center section of the house, which is covered in ipe and steel grat-ing. If we are to think of the dynamic and shifting view across the bay as theater, then this wooden wall is a curtain comprised of a series of offset panels with alternating horizontal and vertical siding overlaid with steel grating. As the woman of the house is a weaver/mathematician; this woven façade references her passion. You will also see her influence through the Fibonacci sequence, which became a primary vetting framework for the design.

Located about 3 km south of central Sapporo near the foothills of Mt. Maruyama, this residence is surrounded by single-family homes, high-rise condominiums, mid-rise apartment buildings, temples, and shrines. The white Court House stands among this jumble of development on a slightly irregular 200 m2 lot.
Three long cantilevers on the top of a secluded hill give the spaces of the house commanding views into the woods and the feeling of being suspended in the trees. The living and dining spaces combine to form a Great Room, with a wall of sliding glass doors looking out onto the pool and deck. The house, for a young family of five, contains two master suites and three additional bedrooms, allowing the owners to accommodate friends with their children. The large screen porch, on one of the cantilevered ends of the house, contains an outdoor fireplace and creates the feeling of being in a tree house. The pool’s design creates the illusion of a body of water tautly suspended between two stone walls with the infinity edge beckoning to the trees beyond.
Villa No. 07 is a small villa for the weekend which has been built on a relatively steep slope site plan. The client wanted this villa to be a good place for small and friendly parties. Therefore, it seemed that open and semi-open spaces can play an important role in creating more attractiveness and spatial diversity.
“Mori Haus” is located in the growing fringe of Bangkok near a canal, grassland, and residential area. It is a challenge of fitting high-density dwellings into the local neighborhood and maintaining the peaceful atmosphere of its surrounding.
The two blocks of seven-story residential buildings are located along the site perimeter to maximize the central garden. While the third building is a one-story facility building and situated in the openspace between the two residential blocks. The arrangement creates a connection with the triangular common green area in front of the development and highlights the drop-off. It functions as the main lobby before letting residents walk through the landscape to each residential block.
