The 35th floor is a Continuation Project to other 10 floors, and it serves as a CBC center (customer business center) – One of the things that distinguish it from the rest of the floors. Another thing that sets it apart from the rest of the floors is the design. We created a space that will be welcoming to the visitors of palo alto networks.

Vanke · City Growth Hall in Chengdu, China by MDO (MORE DESIGN OFFICE)

Monday, December 20th, 2021

Article source: MDO (MORE DESIGN OFFICE)

Vanke · City Growth Hall is located in the ‘Eastern Suburb Memory’ in Chengdu. The original building held the Hongguang Electronic Tube Factory, a state-run factory which was founded in 1958 which produced oscilloscopes and kinescopes for the military. The old factory was left to ruin whilst the other neighboring buildings have become part of a thriving cultural and design hub.

Our concept for renovation was to create a clear language between old and new, to leave traces and history of the existing building, whilst inserting a series of new contrasting elements.

VW- The Gymnasium Tower Tel Aviv in Israel by Raz Melamed

Saturday, December 18th, 2021

Article source: Raz Melamed

At the top of the tower in the center of Tel Aviv, this apartment is poetically peppered in shades of gray that are festively decorated with colorful art all throughout. To start, this unit was two apartments that were then converted by architect Raz Melamed into one house with a division into a private wing and a public wing, meeting the needs of this Israeli art collector who asked for an apartment that would promote his prideful, colorful, and happy art collection.

At the start of this process, the construction of the floorplan was carefully crafted to meet the customer’s requests, with each request having a design and aesthetic solution: the first of which was to create a partition between the hallway and the entrance to the house to create privacy. This request gave rise to an architectural constraint that led Melamed to examine the space and the first step into the house.
