Fintech company TWINO allows its staff to work from anywhere, but maintains that an office is vital for a social work culture. In response to the brief Open AD designed an activity-based workplace, which embodies the company culture and brand values. Bespoke furnishing brings the company logo to life without the need for further branding solutions. Seen from the street, a neon light feature attracts attention and announces the company name to passers-by.
Employees have access to hot desks, lockers, meeting spaces, a kitchen and lounge. The office is easily transformed to host meetups, community events and foosball tournaments. Custom-designed elements like the stylised tool rack support a culture of creativity and innovation, in which employees can comfortably ideate. It also nods to TWINO’s partner company, which works in the construction and real estate sector. The two share an office.
We are in the attic of a 1930s townhouse in Prague Libeň. An apartment was built here in the 1990s. But there were too many rooms, more than the client needed, anyway. The joy of open attic space was lost in the clutter. Our task was to find it again.
The height is an essential quality in any attic. With that in mind, we open up the living room to create a double-height space accentuated by a tall bookshelf on one of the walls. In the centre of the apartment we insert a new core: a black wooden box to conceal a small bathroom, make up the stairs and catwalk on the second level, while still allowing daylight deep into the entrance hall. This way we simplified the layout without resorting to structural changes.
Banc Sabadell Space is housed in a 19th-century building, opposite the National Museum of Archaeology. The green area in front of the museum dialogues directly with the garden situated at the other end of the branch office.
From the outside, the window, raised above the level of the street, directly shows off the workplace, in an abstract, professional but sober environment. The large logo applied to the glass, designed by Mario Eskenazi, introduces a filter between inside and outside.

The design for K31 Courtyard marries together two typical residential building typologies; a stepped podium which surrounds a private courtyard, and two towers that face each other diagonally in such a way as to provide the best possible view corridors for all the residents and enable increased daylight for the apartments.
The podium design, with its stepped terraces, is designed to provide sufficient sunlight for the apartments that face the inner courtyard. These stepped terraces also create a unique feature for this residential project, as they can be used for additional amenities for the adjoining apartments.
Situated in an entirely new building complex in Shibuya, Tokyo, Digital Garage’s tranquil co-working space creates a sanctuary contrasting the busy neighborhood ten floors down. The new co-working space is created as an inspiration for future co-working spaces in other Digital Garage office locations around the world.
Once circumscribed as one continuous landmass, the supercontinent Pangaea acted as the conceptual starting point and also became the name of for the new Digital Garage co-working space. As a boutique office space for digital nomads, the space commemorates a time and place where geographical, political, and national constructs were not an obstacle.
Creation of an interior for a creative couple seems to be quite a complex task on one hand, but an unforgettable experience on the other. We had to zone a 69 sq. meters place correctly to make it a perfect living area for a couple, their young son and two adorable dogs. We’ve implemented some brave ideas like a bedroom separated by a glass divider, a wall made of glass blocks or a window-sill, where you can sit. Also, we’ve decorated the apartment with modern Ukrainian artist’s works (Artem Proot, Sergey Maduykov) and filled it with Scandinavian brands like Hay, Muuto and Normann Cph.
The jagged line that winds in and out throughout this garden-level apartment designed by the architect Yaron Eldad in Tel Aviv emphasizes interesting architecture and space with careful design.
This couple and their 3 children turned to Eldad with a property that did not suit their needs, as they suffered from the poor design of a low-rise ground floor, and a very high ground floor with no windows. The customers asked for a pampering and luxurious master room, a room for a future baby and another room. At the same time, they wanted an optimal space for hosting where they could comfortably accommodate a large amount of people.
How to bring change while respecting 27 years of history and a loyal customer base? This was the challenge when trusted with designing the new event space Telpa at Osiris restaurant in Riga. Open AD sought to find a balance between the old and familiar, and the fresh and innovative. The design needed to be empathic towards current clientele, while also attract additional audiences.
The logo of Osiris is as legendary as the cafe itself. The Eye of Horus has been greeting customers since it opened in 1994. Open AD looked to the eye for inspiration, and it became the very foundation of our design.
Yemanja has achieved the office design for Mediawan, a French media conglomerate, located in Paris, France.
When Yemanja discovered Mediawan’s new buildings, we were stunned by the beauty and the nature of the place. Quickly, a complicity appeared with Mediawan’s teams and the dialogue was very fluid. Passionate by office’s landscaping, we quickly understood the challenge and the strategic issues of such a project. We had to find and tell a story to illustrate our ambition all along the 8 floors and its 10,000 m². Mediawan’s offices are a place made by creatives for creatives. Our work will give birth to the group’s ambitions. To make 46 avenue de Breteuil an incubator dedicated to production and innovation of audiovisual and digital contents, the office of the future sector mastodon.
The apartment is located in Moscow in a new residential complex near Petrovsky Park.
The main objective of the project was to preserve the original space of the apartment with large windows. That is why the main areas (living room/kitchen and bedrooms) are located along the windows, and the utility rooms (closet, laundry room and bathrooms) are placed in the center of the space in the “dark zone”.
We wanted to preserve as much light and space as possible so we gave the living room/kitchen a bigger part of the apartment with four windows overlooking the courtyard, and the bedrooms got the area overlooking the park.
