90 Morton, from Brack Capital Real Estate, is a 12-story, boutique, state-of-the-art residential condominium building in the West Village, one of the city’s most sought-after residential neighborhoods. The development’s concept architect is Asaf Gottesman of Gottesman-Szmelcman Architecture and the interior designer is Marc Turkel of Leroy Street Studio. With first closings anticipated for early 2019, 90 Morton will have 35 exquisite residences with expansive layouts from two- to five-bedroom homes, as well as penthouses. As an ancient Chinese poem goes, “Willows get green again when spring rain falls at the bridge”. Spring rain provides for every thirsty beings, and thus manifests the beginning of lives. Looking from afar, the smoke-like spring rain creates a ethereal aura that resembles the fairyland. Inspired by this beautiful scenery, YANG uses scattered full-height white screens to introduce transparency and mysteriousness into the lobby, making the prelude of the hotel a lasting song of refreshed lives singing by the rain, in which every coming guest enjoys its natural and comforting ambiance.
Witte de Withstraat, one of Rotterdam’s liveliest and well-known streets, has a new resident. CityHub have modified three existing buildings on the street to create the second of their new, fresh and interactive hotels for the digital native. Those who are familiar with the CityHub concept will already know that it is no standard hotel. Typical rooms are replaced with futuristic sleeping unit or hubs. The hubs are aimed at a generation with a digital lifestyle, who make the most out of the interactive features and enjoy being connected 24/7.
Democratic Italian restaurant Tartufo trattoria is located in the heart of Lviv, on the third floor of the Forum Lviv shopping center. Such location greatly influenced the concept of the interior. We decided to move away from the classical and usual perception of Lviv, having left only the materials strongly connected with the spirit and mood of the city. Brass, white marble and oak appear in the interior with a modern twist – without decorative carving, monograms and facets.
China Optics Valley Convention and Exhibition Center is situated in central area of Optics Valley New City on High-Tech Avenue, it serves as an important public function of Optics Valley Central City and is responsible for holding the annual CIOE. It is also an important complement to the functions of the surrounding districts.
Before working on this project, Mr. Xu has been thinking about the future development of restaurant, as well as new ideas of restaurant design. He wants to design a restaurant which gets rid of the stereotype and being innovative . In this case, Mr. Xu, as space magician, proves again there are new breakthroughs in blending nature into a restaurant.
Located in the central square of Nha Trang City, the building stands out among regular square blocks. The façade area is quite narrow, so the architect have transformed the monotonous glasses into colorful “walles”. A part of elevation space is used as a place to plant trees, as a result, it creates “green” balconies, brings the comfort feelings to the users. The façade area is quite narrow but the land plot is such a corner plot so the whole room is designed to receive direct natural wind and sunlight. All rooms come with sea views.
SAOTA’s first completed project in Los Angeles, Stradella, is a remodel of an existing 1970’s house on a beautiful promontory in Bel Air.
The original layout of site and dwelling were well planned to ensure privacy from the street and to address spectacular views over the LA basin, capturing the full panorama from Downtown to Century City, with mountains to the east and ocean to the south.
