The design concept by behet bondzio lin architekten for the Association of the Northwest German Textile and Garment Industry aims to provide all employees with a view of the picturesque landscape to the north and to welcome those arriving from the south with a strong textile image. The elongated structure is enclosed on three sides by a completely closed brick facade. The volume, closed to the east, south and west and open to the north, is the basis for an energy-optimized office building.

The KCI headquarters is located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It was constructed adjacent to a 30-meter road providing office, conference, and warehousing space. Facing the road, a suspended moulded wall was installed to reduce the impact of the hustle and bustle outside. At a glance, the second-floor appears smaller due to the glass exterior of the first floor being withdrawn from the interior of the glass to give a feeling of suspension. The design choice has allowed for plentiful natural light and abundant vegetation. The changing environment creates a unique visual experience for the office space. A natural passage of time is created by the displacement of the light and shade, giving the space life.
The three major central concepts of “penetration”, “cladding” and “cleanness” are in line with the company’s brand image. We begin to visualize this foundation to be pure and clean under the framework of a big space. Where necessary, it can also be divided into the independent units and the combination of materials having not been excessively processed can make the space produce the dialogue.
Within the framework of a group of clients constituted by “London Travel” and “Viral Productions” is the “London House experience”: The new headquarters of this travel agency in which we proposed to change the traditional paradigm of service business, where experience exceeds the relationship of purchase and sale. The product, travel, as a means to an end, and the end as a personal experience of the client; now become user and protagonist of the process.
London House is the result of the need that the company had to adjust to the constant changes of the corresponding market. We decided to design a project that could be transformed and accompany the programmatic needs that arose during the operation of the travel agency of our clients, and that neither the materials nor the furniture were conditioning at the time of providing this process.
As part of an innovative business corridor in the northern area of Tbilisi’s city centre, GRAFT developed a masterplan for the Didube Chughureti District that creates a scenic and dynamic landscape and a healthy work environment with a wide range of activities for visitors and residents. The development comprises a series of buildings that vary in scale and composition, reorganizing the site while meshing with the existing urban fabric.

The project-site is located on a territory along the train tracks next to the Rennes main station and forms part of the EuroRennes development. The Beaumont site forms part of the master plan by the Parisian office FGP by Philippe Gazeau and Louis Paillard and Agence Ter. The program contains approximately 25.000 m2 of development for offices, retail, housing and an underground parking garage.
Located at the geographic center of the city of Portland, YARD is a 21 story mixed-use building that combines residential, commercial, retail, office and parking.
Positioned in the rapidly changing central east side of downtown Portland, at the base of the iconic Burnside Bridge and skate park, the site presented a multitude of challenges, both at an infrastructure and cultural level.
A glance over this place shows us a C-shaped space, which fits the proposed program. It is a small office dedicated to customer service. The rectangular floor plan, to which the communication core of the residential building in which it is located is subtracted, distributes the space in a large corridor attached to the dividing wall and two rooms.

Aedas-designed Hong Leong City Center in Suzhou, China, recently opened its doors. As the first commercial project developed in China by Singapore-listed City Developments Limited, this mixed-use urban development in Suzhou Industrial Park offers hotel, office, retail, and serviced apartments programmes with a 150-metre hotel and office tower, a 150-metre SOHO tower, two 100-metre residential towers and a central commercial podium HLCC Mall. While facing planning conditions that limit building heights and massing, the four towers are allocated at the four corners of the site to maximise views towards the nearby Jinji Lake. The façade of the two taller towers are also designed in a unified coordination to produce a twin-tower effect.
