The installation can be arched and curled at full scale to form different types of space befitting the university’s summer program. World Horticultural Expo Pavilion in Qingdao, China by UN StudioSunday, June 24th, 2012Article source: UN Studio The World Horticultural Expo 2014 will be held in Qingdao from April to October 2014 and is expected to attract 15 million international visitors. Landscape design, gardening, flowers and different types of horticulture from around the world will be exhibited during the event. The 2014 Expo aims to encourage the exchange of culture, technology and horticultural knowledge and will consist of seven different themed areas, with the Theme Pavilion located at their centre. This cover is certainly another piece in the historic area of Cartagena whose main architectural challenge is to reconcile very different architectures; from the roman time, passing through baroque to nowadays, making all the interventions vibrate together in the neighborhood. Bab Al Bahrain in Manama by Leopold Banchini & Noura Al SayehTuesday, June 12th, 2012Article source: Leopold Banchini & Noura Al Sayeh One of the few existing public spaces in Bahrain, the Bab al Bahrain square has been progressively turned into no more than a roundabout traffic intersection, mainly dominated by the car. Still, due to its historical importance and its centrality within the island, it holds the potential to become a lively urban public space. Located at the entrance of the Suq it has the advantage of belonging to a tight urban structure which still benefits from a natural pedestrian network. Although it was once located a stone’s throw away from the sea, the square is today physically separated from it due to the ongoing land reclamation projects which have taken place since the 1950s. Porosis Pavilion in Belgrade, Serbia by Studio Méta-Friday, June 8th, 2012Article source: Studio Méta- Porosis Pavilion is a temporary mobile pavilion located in Belgrade, Serbia. The space of pavilion is inspired by the porous condition of bone. Bone consists of cellular structure in voronoi system which is rigid and stable. The pavilion allows experiencing the porosity through the combination between the space and the structure. The density of voronoi structure defines space for the temporary exhibition, as it is denser in the enclosed back space of the pavilion and opens up towards the front with less dense structure. The structure itself defines the facade aesthetic of the pavilion.  Perspective

It is a supplement for two traditional style residences, providing an extra place for meeting and recreation, just nearby a hill planted with orange trees.
