A former Royal Mail sorting office site, just off London’s Oxford Street has been transformed into a high-quality mixed use development with a new publicly accessible garden, by Make Architects.
Designed as a sorting office in 1951, the site was formerly inaccessible to the public when it was bought by London developer Great Portland Estates plc (GPE). Now, two L-shaped blocks stepping from six to nine storeys surround a garden that takes up 20% of the GDA.

VOX Architects had a task to design a modern comfortable space for the International Business Lounge of the new Rostov-on-Don airport.
The concept of the project conveys the natural beauty and richness of the southern region: the upper and lower reaches of the Don river, the valley of a deep river, overgrown shoals, the general feeling of warmth, space and abundance that everyone feels here.
Semifreddo is a restaurant project with over ten years of history, that has been listed as one of the top one hundred restaurants in the world by San Pellegrino. The restaurant is located within a two storey former mansion. Two large verandas flank both sides of the building. The main hall is located on the first floor and maintains a light minimalist environment, accented with a bar stand and back wall in american walnut panelling. The verandas are characterised by the exposed brick walls of the building. The simple interior is finished with bold lighting elements and glass screens custom designed for the project.
The two Michelin star chef Nino Graziano cooks at the restaurant himself. Diners can observe the best Italian chef in Moscow at work in his kitchen, which is open to the dining hall.
