Goocha-sea food restaurant in Tel Aviv, Israel by Nir Portal Architects

Wednesday, May 7th, 2014

Article source: Nir Portal Architects

Goocha-sea food restaurant, Tel Aviv, is situated in the heart of very popular hi tech offices area.

In designing it we wanted to create a contrast atmosphere of design, breaking the cold steel and glass reflected from environment.

Along with major effort to bring the spirit of sea to that area of the city, Goocha’s design is an eclectic design, combines styles from traditional classic to new “used, second hand” style.

Restaurant and theater for kids KUKUMUKU in Vilnius, Lithuania by Plazma Architecture Studio

Tuesday, April 29th, 2014

Article source: Plazma Architecture Studio

Kukumuku is a restaurant–theatre designed for families with kids and located in the heart of Vilnius city centre. The idea to open such a niche restaurant came up due to the fact that public places are rarely adapted to accomodate the needs of the youngest members of the families. This is why, during the whole process of designing the Kukumuku restaurant, the main goal was to pay full attention to what is it that the kids want.

Article source: amann cánovas maruri

Located in a recently redeveloped area in the industrial town of Coslada, close to Madrid, the project is born of the arrangement between different uses and different height levels: underground parking, offices and commercial uses from the public ground floor to the public raised space on the third floor platform, and from this level residential spaces: it is a hybrid building in the periphery.
