Starting point for this project was the desire for a closed and introverted building structure that provides protection and security. The requirement to design a one-story building and the high demand of rooms made it possible to realize a u-shaped atrium around the existing summer house. The guest unit, the indoor pool as well as the residential area were aligned one after another along the property line. Therefore the building functions like a huge wall that creates an intimate courtyard granting protection and security.
The existing property and residence of postwar years was already rebuilt in the 90ies of the last century. Now it has been extended to an ensemble by an additional building. The open courtyard was completed and the existing garage partially built on. Special attention was paid to the completion of the structure and the employment of corresponding materials.
A particular challenge for the design was the narrow site and the aim not to affect the view of neighboring housing units. The various sights and the path of the sun had a big influence on the concept of the design.

The agency had a wish to obtain an «unusual and creative space», separately discussed were areas for placement of a large number of exhibition samples. Thus the office room size was quite small — only 450 sq.m., however the premises had many interesting features: once there was a plant located in this building so it had very high ceilings, brick walls and huge window apertures.

Kukumuku is a restaurant–theatre designed for families with kids and located in the heart of Vilnius city centre. The idea to open such a niche restaurant came up due to the fact that public places are rarely adapted to accomodate the needs of the youngest members of the families. This is why, during the whole process of designing the Kukumuku restaurant, the main goal was to pay full attention to what is it that the kids want.
This detached house with a self-contained flat is being built on a plot of approximately 2,000 square metres in a prime residential area of Weinheim (Bergstrasse) for a family of five. The design is for a building that is split into individual volumes and that has two storeys facing Weinbergstrasse in the northeast and three storeys facing the garden in the southwest due to the extreme slope of the plot. A detached house, built in 1999, which still exists on the plot, is to be retained and included in the design.
