The project is an interior renovation of an existing building and seeks to establish a coherent whole operation by adapting the program to the needs and uses of new users. The intervention is essentially a reorganization of interior spaces, limiting interventions on buildings and ensuring optimization of quality and comfort of use. The general principles of circulation of the old building are maintained and adapted to the standards required by the change of destination.
The State University of New York (SUNY) College of Environmental Science & Forestry (ESF) Gateway Center transforms a barren parking lot into a striking symbol of environmental stewardship and climate action leadership. This three-story campus center totals 54,000 gross square feet, providing a conference facility, café, bookstore, and admissions and outreach offices unified by a sweeping concourse that supports students, faculty, and public gatherings.
The 34,000-square-foot Arizona State University Health Services Building (ASU HSB) is an adaptive reuse project that transformed the existing sterile and inefficient health clinic into a clearly organized, efficient, and welcoming facility. The design imbues the new facility with a sense of health and wellness that leverages Tempe’s natural environment and contributes to a more cohesive pedestrian-oriented campus. The renovated facility, the new wing, and the entrance pavilion energize the surrounding campus by engaging the historic Palm Walk—the campus’s main pedestrian spine.
The M2 building is located in the Science Park of the University of Salamanca, in its Villamayor campus. The volumetric layout of the plot was set by the technical facilities, with five prismatic buildings arranged in parallel, oriented to the north-south, leaving a large garden area over 30 meters wide to the south, facing the road.
Founded in 1883, the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin is built on a foundation of important breakthroughs that have shaped our molecular understanding of basic biological problems including discoveries of Vitamin A, the Vitamin B complex, and the irradiation process for production of Vitamin D.
Inspired by the building scale, texture, and landscape of surrounding Istanbul, Ozyegin University’s Student Center is composed as a “University Village” of cubic volumes stepping down the sloping site.
This building is the second phase of fast track construction of the academic campus for Ozyegin University (OZU), a new private Turkish university started in 2008. The Student Center is a LEED Gold certified project. The first LEED certified building at any university in Turkey.

In the heart of Ozyegin University’s campus, the SELI building is composed as a “hinge” to allow a pivotal shift in the axial organized structures and pedestrian movement within the campus. The building’s internal and external organization reinforces the transition from the high levels of the main educational campus down to the lower levels of the sports and residential campus.
To mitigate the high density of accommodations required on the site, the design adopts a strategy of a tri-parte form and discontinuous stepped silhouette. These formal ideas are complimented by the unique polychrome façade that merges the large building with the surrounding landscape.
