Friday, August 21st, 2015

Article source: EKAR

T-House, a combination of home and office, using the cotton textile as the main idea to represent the family-run business.

An office, a warehouse, plus a residence for family expansion.

According to an initial requirement of the project owner, Khun Noppawarat Pornputhakul, the main functions of T-House were created to support her family business, a cloth wholesaller from Pratunam District. To maintain the circulations and routine of the old house in Nonthaburi Province, a new built needed to be not just only a residence for an expanding family plus a small garment storage, but also needed to include an additional space for a new office and prepare an area for a further phase of family extension.

Joly House in Bangkok, Thailand by Stu/D/O Architects

Wednesday, July 8th, 2015

Article source: Stu/D/O Architects

This three-story house for a family of four has a footprint of 250 square meters and a height of 11 meters. It is located on the street corner in one of the most exquisite and densely populated residential areas of Bangkok. Flanked by rows of shophouses, main living spaces are elevated to the second floor to improve the visual conditions and allow rooms for service spaces on ground. Upon arrival, one is greeted with the skylights, through which shown the rippling strips of caustic patterns resulting from the interplay between lights and water of the swimming pool above. The changing time of the day contributes to the changing color of lights, making this parking space- the arrival space, more dynamic.

Zonic Vision Office in Bangkok, Thailand by Stu/D/O Architects

Thursday, June 4th, 2015

Article source: Stu/D/O Architects

With the attempt to reveal the agenda of the building through its skin, Stu/D/O Architects treated the Zonic Vision Office incommensurate to its intelligible names, Zonic and Vision; by transforming this Sound System and GPS provider company to become tangible. In term of Zonic, it gave a clarified definition of audible wave having a speed approaching in the air, meanwhile interpreting the meaning of Vision as the faculty of sight. Architecture, finally, was delivered by conforming sound to vision using the concept of the Equalizer. To reach people perception, Stu/D/O Architects turned this dynamic electronic signal of sound frequency components into architecture by using various intensity of the glazing façade.

Article source: Tidtang Studio Co.,Ltd.

Rabbit’s Tale, one of the most enthusiastic and fast-growing digital marketing agency based in Bangkok, required tidtang studio to create a unique office that gives a sense of modernity. First, we figured out that the area, which is a former two-stories penthouse, is limited by the spiral stairs setting in the heart of the space. We then decided to use this staircase to centralize the rest limited space altogether.
