The house is basically organized in a large block in format with two floors.
The social sector was positioned on the lower floor, which features the living room, dining room, kitchen, home theater, utility room, guest toilet, laundry room, gourmet space and pool. On the ground floor are the garage, the warehouse, the entrance hall, the office and the three dormitories.
The local conditions were decisive for the solutions adopted in the project. The lot is located in the highest part of the condominium, which allowed the creation of large openings overlooking the natural landscape.
This privileged location also allowed a better use of ventilation and natural lighting. The large openings in opposite directions allow the control of the air currents inside the house.
Developed for a software company, the Project was based in a old computer monitor. The architetonic party was based on the ground and solar positions, and the visual was also importante by choosing the insertion of the Project.
The project was born from a different and very peculiar interview: – \”I would like that the house has music, feeling, wood, air, fire, water, light, path, search. And it was also an icon that represente something innovative. \”- Developed from its conception by a group of professionals from different areas, the project and the work of House 01 was developed with sustainability premises, trying to prove that one can build in a Rational, minimizing environmental impacts, transforming an object of living into an example object of change of habits in the construction and the use of the residence.
The Dutch architectural firm expands its growing business by opening its second outpost in São Paulo (Brazil). The practice, founded by architects Kees Kaan, Vincent Panhuysen and Dikkie Scipio in 2014 quintessentially reveals a natural connection with Brazilian modernist architecture and aesthetics, highlighted through the use of raw concrete, clean lines and functional forms.
I called this project 100% Residency, because all the land, even in its green area, it has a function.
This, was elaborated as a collaboration for a student of mine, of the course of Civil Engineering, in college that I taught. Therefore, I elaborated in metallic structure, for it to be already getting accustomed and having an already real project, a detail of this bevelled structure, so it already improves its knowledge. And the apparent concrete in the rest.
After the development of some alternative occupation to the terrain started in mid-2013, the architectural program is reviewed and discussed in order to effectively meet the wishes of the couple who today make this house their home.
The architectural party of the House of the Climbing was defined in order to value the conditions offered by the place. Observed the physical and topographic conditions, as well as the solar orientation and the winds, the volume was defined from the choice of the concrete as main constructive element. However, poetics is in the way this material has taken shape. In the main volume, the social and leisure area is defined by a light coverage. The prestressed concrete happens like a smooth curved line, almost like a leaf hovering in the air. In contrast, the social area is present by a solid rectangular volume, which at the same time is \”heavy\”, \”floats\” on two sculptural pillars. Under this volume, garden, garage and a climbing wall coexist harmoniously.
