Pony Running Daycare Showroom in Shenzhen, China by VMDPE Design

Transparent glass separates a shiny and bright yellow world of joy from the sober grayness of the city outside. Despite being surrounded by a forest of reinforced concrete, its warm atmosphere flows through time and space, favoring the spiritual growth of children. Pony Running, as the name of the brand implies, goes beyond the boundaries of traditional thinking, granting children invisible wings of freedom to move at will, explore and grow in an inspiring mini universe full of possibilities.

Bund Finance Center South Mall in Shanghai, China by Kokaistudios

A major mixed-use development connecting Shanghai’s commercial heart to its old town, Bund Finance Center’s landmark architecture has fast become a Shanghai icon. Called upon to design interiors for the project’s mall, the project marks Kokaistudios a return to the city’s historic Bund, where in 2006 they led the renovation of UNESCO Heritage Award-winning Bund 18.

In the Eighteenth Century, people in Paris were keen to Salon Style socialization. Among which Mrs. Pompidou’s salon was particularly noticeable, it had successfully attracted many of Paris’s scholars, scientists and artists, even the famous Voltaire is her guest. One of the requests of this case is to create a fashionable, modern, and a mild luxurious way of socializing and life for the hostess. The space need to be comfortable for living, while being suitable for entertaining friends on weekends or holidays. In that case, the hostess could hold their dreamy salons while enjoying drinking with her friends.

China’s Zhongshan OCT Harbour, masterplanned and designed by LWK + PARTNERS, broke ground in early 2020,  which is envisioned to serve as a dynamic recreational destination and emerge in the west coast of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. LWK + PARTNERS Planning and Urban Design Team in Hong Kong office came together in collaboration with Shenzhen and Chongqing studios to create an urban cultural hub for the community, incorporating vernacular Lingnan aesthetics, river ecology and sustainability considerations alongside business opportunities.
