Shenzhen Bao’an Dakonggang zone is located in a core position in the Greater Bay Area. The district fosters the economic development and acts like a pioneer hub establishing the new model of urbanisation.
With bespoke and integrated design, Aedas won the competition of CTG Investment Building. The design, led by Aedas Global Design Principal Kevin Wang, will become an integrated mixed-use complex merging public realms, interactive terraces and collaborative offices.
Sungang district is situated within Shenzhen, China’s economic and technological citadel; and as the former hub for logistics distribution and warehouses, it is in the process of transitioning between tradition and innovation. Aedas reflects and accelerates this transition by adopting innovative and sustainable dimensions for Baoneng Centre, injecting vibrancy to create one of the largest mixed-use live-work-recreate communities to serve the district.
With a total area of 800,000 square meters, the prismatic complex comprises a 300m tall Grade-A office tower, a 25-storey apartment tower, and an 11-storey podium of 2 retail and exhibition components namely Baoneng First Space and Baoneng Universal Converge. The development revitalises the area by increasing commercial activities.
CLOU architects was commissioned by Vanke to design the fourth floor atrium of the newly opened Future City Mall in Qingdao. Located in Qingdao’s northern district, Vanke Future City is a brand-new shopping and leisure destination devoted to the mingling of aesthetics, creativity and social experiences, hoping to bring a fresh vitality to Qingdao’s old town and its surroundings.
The crux of the design challenge was to create an iconic social space, tempting customers to the upper levels of the mall, and energizing its retail and dining areas. This led to the concept of an immersive jungle garden.
As the main carrier of the urbanisation process in the suburbs of Shanghai, Jiading New City is an important hub for Shanghai’s development in science and technology, and a recently-established sub-centre for the future city. Shanghai Jiading Financial Center Project is designed by Aedas Global Design Principal Ken Wai, located in the core area of the lot and has been brought into practical use since its completion. The façade perfectly interprets the design concept that focuses on simplicity, organically integrating modern elements into the surrounding nature, and creating a new vibrant hub for the emerging commercial cluster in Jiading New City.
Led by Aedas Global Design Principal Kevin Wang, the new leisure destination fronts the Dong’an Lake and backs Longquan Mountains. It is a contemporary resort that integrates hotel, ecology, sports and retail.
Kevin says, ‘Dong’an Lake is becoming an international gateway incorporating wellness, ecology and corporate image. The hotel thus connects to the developments in the vicinity, creating a unique experience that integrates with the environment.’
The cooperation between CAA and BCC Group, a leading enterprise in the medical beauty industry, dates back to ten years ago. Based on the design concept of creating “natural vitality”, CAA built the first clinic for Joan brand. Now with ten years after, CAA was invited again for its brand upgrading. The project is located in Lido, an international community landmark in Beijing. With a design area of about 1200 sqms, it is divided into two floors, mainly composed of public services and a full-discipline medical beauty treatment spaces.
Located in the northeast corner of multidimensional Suhe MixC World in Shanghai an ‘urban valley’ comprising an underground commercial center set within in a brand new green land for the city this mixed-use Commercial Podium in East Alley (hereinafter referred to as “side building”) acts a gateway to physically and aesthetically connect its wider site, revealing the underground commercial valley to the urban public space. A destination in its own right, the side building also draws on various elements of its surroundings including the linear design language of a neighboring landmark tower and green space to blur boundaries between architecture and nature, inside and out, public and private.
KiKi ARCHi has completed a house in Beijing that blends tradition with modernity. It combines the owner’s classical collection hobby with the design concept that conforms to the contemporary lifestyle. By replanning and adjusting the structure, layout, daylight, and material texture of the house, it demonstrates the ‘sense of ritual’ and ‘inclusiveness’ in life, as well as the balance between space and display design.

With a restless commitment to precise design and production, the brand has been dedicated to improving outdoor adaptability and encouraging the evolution of exploration for decades.
The new store’s design is based on the brand’s DNA. Breaking away from conventional commercial designs, the design team adopted warm-toned lighting, textures and diverse spatial languages, focused on users’ natural experiences at indoor and outdoor spaces, and meanwhile emphasized functionality and a vibe that fits in with the user community, with a goal to create a “spiritual” destination for snow enthusiasts.
Nestled near the quiet village of Lung Tin Tsuen, Atrium House reimagines Chinese vernacular architecture to derive a new model for shared living. The area is known for its many historic houses and walled villages dating back to pre-war days. Against this historically-rich setting, the design combines vernacular aesthetic with a contemporary sensibility.
